Go with the Auri. The Pink Hair immediately destroys your current Character.

The Hair from the Auri matches with the Skin and those Eyes are perfect.

Current Appearance, i switch back and forth between blonde and black hair.

Made some leaps from my original Au'ra, now that i have quality time to spend in the benchmark CC.

I don't want obvious limbal rings, just a hint to give the eyes an extra shine to them from an outwards view. The faces are the same, just different clan and colors, can be interchanged.

If i go Raen - Blonde hair, Red Eyes.

Question just because I'm going crazy - we wont lose legacy tattoo from switching to Au Ra right? Someone in my FC was messing with me saying we'd loose our chocobo/tattoo. lol >.<

KaedrianLiang - I like your Xaela. She just has a very soft look that I find appealing. Your gif drives me crazy xD
Zilena - I like your lalafell better just looks cooler. With the pink angry slits. Just pops out.
Mandze - I think it came out good, just feels better to me if it had freckles too lol!

Mandze, your Au Ra has a gorgeous face and color combo. However, I will just say it. I just hate the hairstyle (on all races). I would say go Au Ra Xaela for sure, but in my opinion, you need a better hairstyle.

I keep hoping that there will be more short hairstyles eventually. I don't care for the long ones because of all the clipping. If the midlander "bob" were an option, I'd use that one in a heartbeat.

I really like my elezen but her neck, small head and run animation are getting really annoying. Im thinking of switching to either a Roe or Xaela. What do you guys think?

As Mandze said, your Miqo'te definitely has the look of a wiser, older gentleman. Which is very unique. The Au Ra definitely feels younger in comparison.

Personally I prefer the Au Ra, but I suppose it boils down to what kind of character you want to play.


@Remi_Tsukiko I like the purple hair a lot :) The color goes nicely with the Raen's scales.


@falsefireurchin You Elezen is absolutely lovely. It's a shame you want to change her, but I totally understand the animation gambit. So if you change, my personal vote is the Au Ra you made. She really pops, and I find it difficult to look at anything but her in your post. If you find that you're not fond of Au Ra's emotes/animations, my second fav is your black and purple haired Roe :) She's quite pretty too.

When I got my hands on the character creator I decided I wanted to base her on the succubi in Haukke Manor, unfortunately with my other versions I tried to also incorporate my kitty into her, which -as most people pointed out- clashed, and I got a little pissy at people for not liking her and for that I apologize. So I decided that if I was going to do a succubus like the ones in HM I was going to need to make her as close as possible, unfortunately face 4 is the only one that I find is mature looking, but I wish I could use face 1 horns because they're able to emulate the spiny protrusions of the HM succubi necks, so unfortunately I have to compromise. The hardest part was figuring out the eye color of the HM succubi because getting close enough to see the eyes clearly is extremely hard. Thankfully I was directed to XIVModels, and I was able to find out that they have white irises with no pupils and black sclera. Unfortunately I have to compromise again, so I went with white irises and white limbral. Sorry for the long wall of text, and thank you all for your feedback, and again I apologize for my behavior.

Pretty sure i will be staying as i am just with a new haircut , but as i am bored waiting for servers to come up i did a comparison of my benchmark Aura with how my current character will look.

Yeah, I wish the horns were separate from the faces too. That particular face is probably my favorite, because depending on what you do with the other features you can run the gamut from 'bitchy' to 'seductive'. :3

On my character blush painted the scales as well, so look out for that.

Ok, so... I went Auri for a few hours... then decided I didn't like it after all, and went back to Hyur. Just added a little bit of "combat damage" and changed the hairstyle

PURPLE ROE

I realize this is a bit off topic but what did folks wind up going with? I appreciate the feedback I got. I was VERY attached to my Miqote look, but I decided to give Au Ra a spin. I'm really happy with how my Xaela has turned out. I hope everyone is having a blast with this expansion. Its exceeded all of my expectations thus far! So now the choice is between going back to female highlander as I was before:

So it seems my chosen skin colour on benchmark was super dark on live, so I went a shade lighter. Will change hair often, and race between this and Miqo'te.

He looks awesome! :D I ended up with the Xaela people gave me most votes, which honestly was the one I leaned to most originally but second guessed on. Best choice made so far in this game. ^^b I absolutely love her. I'm very glad I asked for opinions on this thread and appreciate the help.

I think I may end up staying Hyur after all. I still haven't decided-- I much prefer the way that the Au Ra women run, but their /sit is terrible.

Just do what I'm doing if anything if you're getting the CE fantasia. Change to Au Ra til the 23rd to get a feel for it, change to something else/back to Hyur if you don't like it, stay Au Ra if you do. If you change to something else and don't like that either, then go Hyur again.

Your highlander looks fabulous. But if you truly want an Au'ra I guess you've chosen the most "agressive" face of all available for females, that being said, maybe you should change her eye's color, she's really frightening with white eyes :x
