Not sure if this has been posted in here already, but it's possible to make a spiral staircase by using a pillar of any kind, Wax Vegetables and Zabuton Cushions.

Another trick I have done involved using half-partitions to create a striped, raised platform.

Finally, you can glitch flowers into mansion stairs with the aid of a well-placed partition and wall shelf. Be warned, though: you can't make them go all the way up the stairs! I unfortunately don't have a photo available for this one, though.

Especially the Garuda and Sophia Comp is pretty.

But i just ready the patchnots an i'am missing the Tabletop button in the new housing menu. I hope we are able to do such stuff in 4.1. too.

I'll hope the Tabletop button is only disabled when you are in the storage menu.

I'm looking to give my apartment room to have a Japanese feel. Does anyone know if there's japanese futon option available for beds? Or does anyone know how to 'create' one?

There's no futon bed at the moment, this was my best attempt to mimic one with a bunch of Oriental Round Table surrounding the bed. I believe there's a new sideboard about the new 4.1 furniture that might work as well.

How do you get the cushions to float? I can't seem to place them on anywhere but the floor?

there's a glitch which you can use so objects will levitate. youtube even has tutorial videos how to do that. funny thing, i have a flying spiral staircase in my mansion

Ty ;-; I need to make like 30 wall planters. I really like planters, water and lighting independent to the chandelier. xD So I used the same sort of thing in both houses and borrowed from the personal house to help decorate the FC. ;-;

Back again with another trick!

Place a window on a wall. Then, place partition as far back as it can go, in front of the window. If you exit the housing menu, the window will appear on the partition. It's then possible to glitch the window, just as you would glitch tabletop items on a wall shelf or wall-mounted items to float. I've used this trick to put windows over the top floor counter opening of my mansion on Gilgamesh!

thank you SOOO MUUUUCH for that tip!! i rebuild my floating spiral staircase with the ivy fountain and gave the entrance room more of a cathedral look than before. the morning light and colorful shadows look SO EPIC on the stairs!! and i love my new sitting spot directly in front of the chandelier crystal.

Where is that? If its an NPC building then its probably not available to players. If its a marketing picture then it may be something not yet released.

The first one is a "Starlight Cake" that has been eaten emptied, the second one is the "Nameday Cake" that has been eaten emptied

It's a little finicky, but if you clip one of the housing district paintings just right the "off" overlay on the sabotender trophy will cover the painting! It also works with the Manderville portrait.

I also love this combo, it makes a nice pillar/partition/room separator. You kind of have to have those books (or something) there, because it needs to cover the clipping. It's two fireplaces back-to-back!

thank you for the floating picture/sabotender trophy idea. it's amazing. i found it worked how you described if you just drag the painting slightly behind the cactuar image so it can turn off/on properly with the new image!

I fell in love with the Imitation Stained Crystal Ornament. So we decided to rebuild something like a small chapel but in progress it turned out to be a church or something. :cool:

Finally I was able to put my Manor Harpsichord one a selfmade "Stage".
It annoyed me that you are unable to put the Piano one a regular Stage.

So I used the Storage Glitch to get the piano in a higher position and build the stage around it :cool:

You want the storage floating glitch. For this one you'll need to float it on a railing. If you use the wall it's going to be lodged halfway through it.
