From what I'm hearing Excalibur and Hyperion are both full. There was a post a few pages back where someone contacted SE via phone.

Seems SE told them all Legacy worlds are full except for Sargatanas.

Didn't even know SE still had phone support. It's all e-mail options for me--

phone support asks you for the Email support ticket number, ive been on hold with them for about an hour now

Aww, went BACKwards. Now I can't get the mog house to even acknowledge I have characters.

I was on hold for about 70 minutes before I got through

Still says no char available for xfer :(

Finally managed to transfer. Fun times.

anyone know if goblin is full? my fc went there i am screwed if got full in one day lol

Mine finally went through too. Now to wait for everything to complete :)

If you check the lodestone, Goblin is one of the LEAST populated servers. I doubt you'll have much of an issue.

This is BS SE, transfer service is not WORKING , cant transfer from legacy server with my friend to non legacy server and now you tell us all legacy server is full

can you transfer if there is already a char on the destination server?

I have a theory that if we all freak out and act like barbarians on the official forums this whole process will move along a lot faster and a lot smoother.

Pretty sure they aren't full if me and my buddies can still create characters on Excalibur and other " highly populated servers. " The only thing full is SE, full of crap with the server transfer. Don't they think we realize that as much people transferring into some servers there are almost the same if not a little less transferring out too? Geez they swear like everybody is able to get this working and is working as intended, loving how SE is telling people over the phone false information to try and mediate the situation on something they dropped the ball on heavily. It's a total bunk attempt, at least in their defense they made it free for 7 days, but I'm pretty sure the next 2-3 will be the same as today. Prove me wrong SE. Btw who here is actually transferring out of the more populated servers? Thanks for the effort though SE, not complaining here just frustrated at how the turn out was, but I don't even understand why I built myself up for this day :\

Only if you have Standard. Entry accounts are only allowed 1 character per world.

mine still stuck can't choose current world :(

It literally just took less than 3 minutes to get my character transfer.

I'd wager that every last person who has labored on FFXIV since the launch of the open beta knows that for current needs, what they have is inadequate--from YoshiP on down. Almost certainly they need more/better machines, probably they need to hire more people to work with these machines. And likely if this inadequacy seems glaring to us, behind the scenes it's even more alarming.

Unfortunately, YoshiP cannot print money. He'd need permission from his own bosses for budget increases and probably also to hire new people. Even assuming this good response to FFXIV:ARR is prompting an increase in his budget that can go to servers and employees, it may not take effect for quite some time (fiscal calendar being what it is), since, well, SE's CFO isn't only funding FFXIV:ARR, but dozens of other things as well. So screaming at the FFXIV team to fix this problem is less than helpful, since they're probably pleading with their bosses for permission to have the resources to fix this problem.

Blargh. When I either get the errror or a small list of servers to transfer to that I'm not interested.

I'm on Moogle and want to go to either of the NA rp servers. :(

Balmung

So I went from being able to select the world I wanted, but not the character I wanted... to nothing. The Mog Station doesn't even acknowledge my characters existence.

Life is suffering.

Guys we are switching places. I first saw what Rhoslyn did when I initially tried and I eventually saw all the servers, but the Mog Station couldn't find the character I wanted to transfer.

Now I just see Yojimbo.

The service is currently unavailable due to maintenance. Please try again later.

Character list not populating in mog station.
Only world available to transfer to is Hades.
Current world: empty, no worlds in the drop down list.
I give up, trying later.

I would not hold too much faith in what customer service says. They also said that if you were under your free time, you couldnt transfer.

I am trying to transfer 2 characters one from Hyperion and one from Exodus and transfer them both to Ragnarok but the only world i am currently getting is Gungnir

Cant wait to transfer. That service is getting hammered so hard right now. Im gonna wait until this cools off for a day or 2 to see if it gets more stable. Im just ready to get into a low pop non-legacy server.

It's borked. Try tomorrow I guess...I just want to get onto leviathan gal darnit. :(

your on balmung you cant get on a non legacy server.....

Guys good news for me.

After a break i tried again. Refreshing the first page until my char showed up.

Then a list with many servers showed up.

I moved from Odin(EU) to Ragnarok (EU Legacy).

I would give a damn to SE telephone support. I guess they dont even work for SE.

Success! Ok after getting errors where it would only show one world to xfer to, i had just about given up. Then I tried switching from IE to Firefox and it worked. Dunno, if it's just coincidence. Good luck!

Sooo i can't transfer to behemoth. This sucks.

It's not impossible. The limit goes off of the current amount of created characters limit for the server. If ever people leave the server, delete their account, stop subscribing etc, a space opens up. It's just a lot harder to get into since the world itself is almost always at that cap.

Only reason I'm needing to transfer to Hyperion is because my friend can't transfer out of a legacy server. Now I'm hearing I still can't transfer my character let alone get the xfer service to even work. So surprise surprise SE didn't anticipate the amount of people trying to use the xfer service. What did they expect??? SE has made this game too frustrating to play with all these technical issues....

Wow... I have tried many times earlier and didn't manage to transfer my characters...
I just tried again and I managed to do it on my first attempt. I was happy and thought that they fixed it and that my friends could do the same but... then I decided to read the forums and... ...

Wrong, if ur character isnt legacy you can transfer to a non legacy server.

Transferrable Current World Destination World
○ Non-Legacy World -> Legacy World
○ Legacy World -> Legacy World
× Legacy World -> Non-Legacy World

Or.... not... WHAT THE EFFING CRAP...
My character isnt legacy but i decided to roll on a legacy and deeply regretted as soon as i started seeing how many elistist jerkwads were on there. My character isnt legacy but this is saying i still cant xfer to non-legacy... if this is right im done. completely done, which sucks bawls cuz i just paif for my first month this morning.
