"Cid" is a FF staple name though, and appears as a differenct human character, in each FF installment with the attached name "Cid".

Andrien's example was to point out that SE used the same exact model from FFXI and put in FFXI so who cares if the same model from FFXII for Veirra is used in FFXIV. And if they put veirra in with the same paw and feet look with fur on the arms, face and legs they won't look very human at all.

The whole point of this is, SE is the only company I know that has made a 2nd MMO of the their original IP FF. Yoshi is taken the fans advise and critiques with professionalism and taken races from certain FF titles would be the right way to go.

Yoshi and dev team do not need to create any new races and they should have done so from the beginning instead of rehashing the FFXI, if that was their intensions.

Yoshi will end up using old races from previous titles because it's FF, and its the lore of the franchise. This is also an MMO and they are not going to pop one out to us every 2 years. This game is going to be here for a long time.

I agree with Yoshi/Dev to consider popping 1-2 races from Ivalice universe, the Lion race from FF10 is also a great choice, there is even a couple from FF9 that could be used.

Lets this mmo breath life man. let the FF universe reflect in it. Even if not all races are playable. Put them in as npcs, unique and plenty, let FF14 world feel diverse.

People whining, about putting the above races in, seem to want the game to look bland/dull or something.

..cool, was going put races.. but wasn't sure of that fact.

Personally, if choosing from races already available in other FFs, I'd go with Ronso or Burmecians...

Cid has nothing to do with Viera. You lost track of your own argument ages ago, you are just trying to "win" at something.
