Obviously, Yoshi has made some changes to the weapon types classes can use. He does have the right to do so. So, forget how things are in 1.x. The battle system, weapons, stats, they are all changing with 2.0. So with that:

ARCANIST = Summoner
SCH << not sure what class you are trying to reference but its not in the game nor has it been announced.

Lol! I think it's too soon to presume Scholar(SCH) will make it in 2.0 but yeah, that's what he meant! :)

Arcanist will be using books as main weapon and they said yes you can hit mobs with it like other FF series and arcanist will have carbuncle with 2 types while summoner will be able to use some of the primals power to call pets with powers they borrow from primals. Thinking of 4 summons to start. Sorry if wrong info trying to remember what I saw in the vid.
