Here's a video of limitation breeding creativity which breeds innovation. They didn't wait for the tools, they made them with whatever they had.
Not "will you let me?" More about "and how far can i push this?"
Yawn. A frog at the bottom of a "limited" well.
You can tinker with glitches as much as you want, but your "creative" won't reach the level that plugin users already achieve. They can create more complex and interesting works, which you will never be able to do.
And same to WoW players. Given opportunity to choice between primitive or advanced features, why should anybody want to stay in the FFXIV? I think investors asking SE same questions, so we will have our improved editor anyway.
P.S. I hope you have enough imagination to outgrow yourself in this wonderful future.
I'm already on par with the pc plugin user as a console exclusive user. There's nothing outside of sinking items in the floor that I can't do.
The tools were never the limitation. The creativity is the limitation, and that's not limited.
You're waiting to be told you can be creative. And that's not how creativity works.
But I noticed that you selectively like to bring out what the investors want. Don't bring that up.I'll just simply bring up the fact that plots guarantees you show up quarterly and see if you can argue why square need back off that retention metric when it feeds their investors.
Here is my board on pinterest, im searching for interesting housing works sometimes. Wonder if you ever care about to look around? Guess which third party tools were used?
If your works can evokes similar emotional responses, that's wonderful! Means future updates with editor's tools won't affect you, and there's no point in complaining about limits lost.
If your works is less impressive (and you honestly admit it), you can wait with us. To do something not just for yourself but for others as well, means to care about the result. If its worse than it could have been, all your efforts were useless.
It does affect me , because when you tell a system that sometimes tells you no to always say yes , you've taken away the emergent qualities that you can develop. You stop challenging human ingenuity.
If the system always tells me , yes. there's not really anything to think about.
Is when the system sometimes tells you no , that's where the creativity and problem solving kicks in.
But yeah , at least from what I can tell , "city rain" and "cozy attic" and "3am"is definitely using housing add-ons to create that. There is a few tells in them.
Would I be able to recreate your design? Save for floating items into the floor I could make your design..
They're not breaking new ground. You're simply doing what people with more patience already do.
You remember the foketale of John Henry? Lol
1. The glitch doesn't allow you to place item anywhere where do you want or near the walls, there is collisions.
2. The glitch doesn't allow you to drown item into the floor.
3. Уou are also very limited with combining few items to make a new one, like a lego constructor. Plugin users literally able to create new type of furniture from other objects (Not breaking new ground? Really?)
So no, not only floating items, you can't repeat even half of showed works with only glitches. Your ignorance is noticeable, same like your "lol" arguments, but to claim that you can do the same is very presumptuous.
I don’t understand the mindset “If I suffer then you must too”.
I find the glitching in the housing system annoying to the max. I want to be able to cutely decorate my house, not to stress it over for hours
just to place a wall partition where I want it… Due to this I had to spend gil for someone else to do that for me after months of saving…
Having better tools for decorating will increase the creativity. How many plots out there now that are unfinished and not even decorated? Many!
