But that’s the problem with how Yoshi P speaks. It seems almost tactical how open to interpretation his words are to the point where he may as well say nothing at all. I’m not holding out hope anyway, but regardless of what he’s actually referring to I still find the statement very tart as someone who’s been done dirty by the continued job lobotomization paradigm.

I keep thinking that he may be referring to the 2min meta burst windows, which may be concerning and reassuring at the same time.

Concerning as I hold the opinion that the 2min meta is the biggest responsible for the homogenization state we face today, and I really think that they should find another way to rework the jobs without the shackles of collective burst windows. But at the same time, it may be reassuring if (big if) the statement's is interpreted as an intention to make the job rotations more interesting outside of the 2min meta.

I feel the latter is the only way to see those 2 statements without the conflicting nature between themselves. They keep how it is today (burst window) while tackling job uniqueness on other fronts, for example, what we do during the roughly 1m45s between the "unload everything you saved!" times.

I could live with the 2min meta if most of the jobs weren't so boring outside of those windows.
