Yeah more randomization makes sense in general.
Although if SQEX ever wants to actually do actual non-static DPS types (they've mudflated the proc chance on Dancer and Red Mage enough to make the procs functionally an irrelevant part of how the rotation flows), the little randomization cards used to be would be absolutely pointless to have, as it'd still feel like ~0. But then that just means there's room for more randomization. Procs! Unreliable resources! Dynamic banching combat flow!
But I doubt they'll do it. If nothing else their savage combat design would not play well with randomization that actually affects gameplay.
