What do players even do during ERP ?

Mao roleplays all the times but is no sex intendeds. Mao is feral dragon-kin found abandoned at birth by Dragon Momma who raised Mao to be proper dragons. That why Mao used to chewings on furnitures, books, cutleries and especially dead things. Dead things good to chews on. Is good food!

I don't think many people care about how the other person looks, when reading their smut.
I guess it's not much different than reading a steamy novel - it does not matter how the author looks, right? It's all about the novel's characters, and the same might be true for eRP.

Accurate. Have had friends in the past who engage in the nightlife scene and they really don't care about the appearance of the other person. In that space, you're viewed as your character and they're after the interaction with your character, not your real life self.

One in particular comes to mind, said person had a harem at one point consisting of like...7 people and he was fully aware that some were men. As long as they kept it to their female persona and didn't try to take it to a real life point, he didn't mind. I personally didn't understand it but hey...if it works it works. Wasn't my gig in the first place.

I mean the RP stands for role playing, most probably don't think about anything beyond that.

If someone is roleplaying normally and the story happens to lead into an erotic scenario, do you start ERPing or is it considered normal RP?
