My dude i use the xiv launcher and it was as difficult to login as using the normal one. Its not a magical tool that lets you login instantly there is a massive queue they warned about this. People that got in have been the lucky few.

You also lack any knowledge about how servers work. Learn to be patient because we all knew this was going to happen.

Except they didn't because the game blew up in July and there was a semiconductor shortage.

BTW FF14 set a new record on steamcharts today, I think it was twice the amount of the Shadowbringers launch. Just saying...

yea ok no, I'm out. Done. At queue 89 / 4000 it disconnects me. For 9 hours I've been trying to get in now. Won't return for the next few days until this stupidity is fixed

I was 12 in Queue. 12. Got 2002 error and now back to 1600 in line. I get it...it's launch/early access weekend. It's still infuriating though.

Before the 89 now, I was once at position 1. Yes, ONE.

The queue isn't the problem. I'd gladly wait hours to get in. The problem is the 2002 error, which has nothing to do with the queue.

Honest I think they have done a good job thus far on early access launch. The server's haven't crashed (least not the one my group plays on?) and I haven't heard of a quest requiring you to stand in a line to que for it. Sure it could be better but supply shortages and they did speak up about wanting more servers but they don't want to rent servers. Understandable. /shrug

This is by far not the worse EA launch. Sure it'll take some time to taper down the numbers for ques but nothing is on fire.

Yeah I have the same philosophy. Can't really help it so there's no point getting upset about it I guess. I'll just play BDO until I can get in :)

But this sort of thing is the reason I wince when people take time off for an MMO launch :(

4 hours in queue vs 2 in game today, then kicked out of queue to have it reset to 9k.

EU servers are cooked and SE doesn't give a hoot.

What is 2002 again? I know they are different codes but I can't remember off the top of my head what 2002 is.
