Quit acting like a spoiled child. Learn to read end dates for events. Don't make assumptions that everything will be the same as before, even if "it's always been like that".

Events will go much smoother for you if you do.

People pointing out a very basic fact of life - learn to read, take self responsibility to inform yourself - is not being condescending or rude. I deal with people like you all the time at work, who act like somehow it's the worker's/company's fault when you don't take the time to read fine print and inform yourself. Grow up and stop expecting spoon feeding.

To be fair, I'd say at least half the people lecturing about "take responsibility, your fault" probably paid no attention to the fine print either and just happened to catch the reminder thread posted here or someone mentioning it in-game.

That said, some of the attitudes are terrible. It was in the small print. A second chance would be nice, but politely requesting it will get you a lot further than outraged demands.

It's not their fault you didn't read the multiple different sources that clearly stated the end date for the event. I get that you're annoyed because you missed out but be annoyed with yourself because its your own fault.

Oop. I even saw the thread here and was like "oh I probably have time" lmao... if I hadn't I definitely wouldn't have even been aware there wasn't a grace period, and I definitely didn't catch any reminders that the event was ending this week :p and I DO usually read the announcements. Whoops.

I'm in sort of an "oh well" category, I kiiiinda wanted the ring but meh, half my gloves hide those anyway...

But yeah, it would be nice to still be able to spend the tomes I do have. Even if it's next time the moogle event rolls around. Should people have paid more attention? Sure. But does it hurt anyone to give like, a couple extra weeks grace to spend down to none? No. It really doesn't.

If it's not font size 1000, it's small print for a lot of people who would still not read it.

There absolutely was a message in game. They gave the Moogle Tome website link for weeks and everything was outlined there. They do the same thing with new content and patch notes.
