Ser Aymeric vs Lord Hien

I love them both, but I think Aymeric is still my favorite. That excited face at the dinner if you invite him to come along on your adventures is just too cute for words!

Definitely Hien for me. Both of them are pretty flat, but I feel like Hien definitely felt like more of a leader. He's the leader of the Doman revolution, while it felt like you were doing everything in Ishgard. If it was possible for the player character to speak, I'd expect Aymeric to have been sidelined entirely.

Hien's mixed texture quality clothing drives me up the wall though.

For the Eyecandy - Aymeric for sure.
For the personality - Magnai (Okay, he's an arrogant prik, but gawd dang it - show some love!)

I still don't know what to think about Hien yet =_=

Hien is still relatively new, while Aymeric is doing the same thing as the other state leaders, slowly fading into the abyss of ancient content.
We haven't seen enough of Hien to form an accurate comparison at least from a personality point of view)
Hien has the looks, but Aymeric inviting the player over for dinner and a friendly chat. He was pretty much the only person I can recall ever asking the player what they actually want for themselves as well, that's pretty big just in itself

Don't forget you can offer him to elope together to a life of swashbuckling adventure and he's only too happy to accept, damn his sense of responsibility. Still one of my fav scenes in the game and if we get one like that for Hien I don't think I'll live through it. Will die happy though, let me tell you

Hien has infinitely cooler hair. Which is why I scalped him and now wear it on my head.

But I like both characters quite a bit.

Hien is a bro. Cool hair, cool beard, cool clothes, call us to hunt animals with Brosetsu.

Aymeric I would choose. I have always liked his personality and how noble he is.
