The patches are substantive enough that they don't need to complete one patch to work on the next patch. It is probable that 1.21 is already well into development.

Of the patches to date I think while 1.20 may lack in "content" however you define that word (I think there's substantial content in this next patch to be honest "refined content"). 1.20 thus far will probably the most game changing patch we have to date since essentially we'll be getting essentially all new classes. And the changes they are implementing affect almost every other system, in the game...enemies, leves, and gear all these major game elements are being affected by this patch.

Right. Little playable content, a lot of changes to content. 1.20 will finish up what they started in 1.18 honestly. I'm hoping 1.20 is the last of the drastic battle changes, class changes, crafting changes and item changes. 1.20 is (again hopefully) the last of the drastic changes to the foundation of the game while 1.21 will start building on that with the job system and whatnot.

We quickly forget also that the current market system isn't how they intended markets were supposed to be...with all the player base demands. They never really tapped what should have been done with the market system. I see the future more company based market system rather then single player based...we'll have to see what comes around.
