My mates joke that the new gears look as if players just come back from mining lol
I love the gear because it looks different. I'm loving the look I will get for my WHM glamour :).
Considering most Aiming gear has catered to the Bard aesthetic (with the neutral middle ground generally being pirate/noble-like), it's nice to get some gear that really caters to the MCH aesthetic, though (and I'm reaching with this) a lot of recent military/special ops type games have featured bows as weapons, so the idea of a Tactical Archer isn't so far fetched.
It's important to note that with things like Magitek, and looking at examples such as FF6, 7, 8, 13, and even 15, Final Fantasy games have never simply rested in the typical "sword and sorcery" type of fantasy. Even 14 has always had a certain degree of sci-fi to it with the Garleans and Allagans. So while it's certainly different, it's not so out of place. And as a MCH/WHM player, I totally welcome it!
(I like the caster robe too, albeit yellow's just not my color)
I like the healer gear
Loooove the gear ;_;
Calling it now. That amazing hairstyle is gonna be locked behind some sort of content that nobody really wants to do. I'm guessing it'll be Lord of Verminion. Or it'll be another Palace exclusive. I'm expecting that to become a trend.
And don't you worry. RNG WILL be involved because SE knows how popular THAT is.
