How does PL'ing affect you?

I wouldn't at all mind 2-3 months. I do not understand peoples rush to get to level cap. Like you said though, SE needs to add more enjoyable content throughout the leveling process so people don't see it as just a boring means to an end. Leveling your first 50 isn't too bad since you have the main quest scenarios, but subsequently you are stuck just grinding.

Obviously, citing your example, it does affect people. But me, personally, not so much.

It always has been reasons show on forums how PL affects you short term through looking for PT and long term through how the economy of the game takes a hit.

But people don't want truth, but instead ideas that agree with them.

Its like if everyone in America all a sudden decided to stop buying things. Short term says it doesn't affect you at all, but long term says America turns to crap because of it.

PL'ing affects me by helping me level my lowbie classes.

Have to say im sad to see it gone iv been spending most of my time PL younger players new to my shell or just the game in general first 20 Ranks ( yah i know its levels now but ehh i like ranks sounds cooler to me) and i get some enjoy ment on speeding them outa the rough patch. But i gess in every game somebodys gonna abuse it (me) and no id never chareg a single dam gil i enjoy helping people (As long as its there anima stuff takes to long to charge)

There's a reason that people who run around pointing and screaming "bot" at everone who is crafting, or established, run around stressing over a handful of people getting an easy 10 levels on a job from the last weeks formula snafu, are always poeple who don't have very established characters.

When you spend all day looking at what you don't have, and complaining about those that do, you really don't get much done, or ever get in a position to buddy up to those people and ask how to get to their level of success.

I've gotten one battlecraft level since the update. You know why? Because I was busy doing other things. You think I'm sitting around hating on those that took advantage of it? Nope.
About the only thought I've had on the issue is "I'm guessing everyone that's bitching is too low to join one, or doesn't know anyone that will let them join one." Because no one can convince me they would rather do the same leves/behests and/or spend 2 hours putting a pt of the same levels together over and over for the next 3 weeks to get the same results.

This isn't XI, you learn NOTHING about playing your job from grinding XP, if anything grinding in this game teaches you very bad habits, and you have to relearn your job when you start doing r50 activities.
