No it is not hard to make a new style but majority of the finalist are copied from other images and they change the color of the hair or made it higher quality so they will not be caught out..... it is not hard to get an image from google u know and change it alittle i have seen better styles on the stream that did not make it but these copy versions did litterally i can point out all of the copy remakes in the thread but then id be sabotaging the contest just by following the RULES SE made in the first place

And by the way Female 12 got disqualified so how come male 23 dont receive the same punishment

Regarding the whole "this hairstyle is an obvious rip off" thing of some of the hairstyles... You could say that about pretty much any hairstyle, tbh. And even when they're clearly inspired by a hairstyle from a game or anime or other already existing media, as long the artwork is still the creation of the artist and not copy-pasted (and dissimilar enough to not be identical), it's within the boundaries of the rules as I read them.
("The Hairstyle must be an original work by the Contestant that is being publicised for the first time for this Contest.")
With 'hairstyle' capitalized, it refers to the contest entry, not the hairstyle design -- in many ways similar to how some ToS use terms like "Consumer" or "Customer" or "Host", with one initial paragraph specifying what those terms mean.

At least that's how I read it.

Yhisa already pointed out they are actually off the web and just editted and they are pretty obvious one already got removed for it.

I think the devs could have saved faced and actually posted the description people wrote out about their design, like how it was supposed to happen in the first place. This way, maybe we could see justification. Instead we are left with more questions and disappointment.

nah this contest is all negative .... female got some unique styles like 4 -5 which are good (No.16 <3 ) ... guys on the other hand only got 3.. the rest are original which is boring or complete rehash version that are stolen
Females so far they got

3 side ponies (minor difference)
1 highlander remake (No 23)
8 Anime remakes (No.1...No.8....No.10...No.13...No.14...No.20...No,22... No.24)
2 Game remakes (No.9 ...No.21)

like come on when i see them i literally face palm all the time

Short wavy hair for guys isn't that uncommon, you know. Any hairstyle could be a rip off if you stretch far enough.

The hairstyle might not be super innovative or something, but I doubt it's ripping off one specific character.

What i would like to know is

Why didnt SE let all players from all countrys participate ?

Maybe we would have got a wider n more distinct hairstyles to choose from.

I agree. If they were just going to poll every one together from jp na and eu, they should have just let everyone enter. I feel we would have have different cultural options to choose from rather than the side pony or kinder Garten bangs.

well the winner will be a disappointment anyway due to the rule of only your LAST LIKE will be counted toward the vote.... meaning No21 female is going to be the winner since it is the closest to the end of the thread

They need to put in BIG RED TEXT in the thread that players can only VOTE ONCE not multiple times just for your last vote to count only... this whole contest is bad because people dont think

Problems with contest
- Can like multiple contestants
- Only last Vote count towards the winner

For example say i like No.16 but then i click like on No.21 but i really only like No.16 ... but because i click like on No.21 last.. my vote counts toward 21 and not 16.. this is aiming towards players who do not read the Rules of voting so this Whole contest is crap due to many players will just click like and not read the RULES of the vote
