I believe this is 100% true and Yoshi hinted such as if it was intentional.

One part i can see being a huge indicator is mages MP. 3 THM without MP materia still have mana conservation on a tight rope with this fight.

you guys run with x3 THM?

20 hours later (4PM EST Thursday~12AM EST Friday), our best attempt was down to 8%. We need to sleep for a few hours to revitalize. Will update when we wake up in a bit!
