That is actually not a bad idea, thank you very much. :)

I would eventually stay Miqo'te, but I've used so many fantasia in the past that it doesn't feel like "me" anymore. Hence why I tried to model my Miqo'te after my 1.0 character and with Au'ra I'm basically trying to reinvent my character and never use a fantasia ever again.. does that even make sense? <.<

Makes sense to me, you're trying to reconnect with your character right? So you're making a new one and trying to get that feeling back to where you can feel attached to her and like shes more than just some character you're playing but shes really your character. It's one thing to make just a character imo but I feel like it takes time and a little piece of oneself into making one to really draw a connection with the character you're playing.

which is what you're trying to do? :)

Exactly! :) Hence why I designed the Au'ra after previous characters/haircolour after my RL-Me to make them feel more like "me". :)
Au're are basically a race I wished they had since the beginning of 2.0.. I love Dragon-Like races/characters with horns and scales..!

I've been playing my Miqote since 2010 alpha for FFXIV...but I just see them EVERYWHERE now heh so I am changing for sure. And yeah, I know that there will probably be a ton of au ra too, but I am suspecting it will even out. In all the coil farm PT I make lately they are all filled with female miqotes..lol. Waaaaay too many!! Plus, if they were out since launch I would have originally picked this demon/lizard race ^^ That is usually what I go for in MMO.

I'll miss my Miqote I suppose but I think its time for a change. I used pretty much the same color schemes..so not much different hahah.

Honestly, I really like your Miqote. I know you later posted a picture of your Xaela Au Ra smiling, but your kitty just has more charm to him. That's just my opinion though. I'm not any less conflicted when it comes to my own character. X_X

I'm really attached to the overall colors/style of my current character so instead of making a completely "new" char I decided to just make an Au Ra version of my current character instead. I just can't decide if I'm gonna actually switch or not ;_;
