They're working on it like Yoshida is working on add-on support. Very slowly.

I think that Sony forgot about people - it's TNK wiith it's own inerests now. I'll try to replace ps to other one when it will be possible for me.

As FFXIV doesnt require PS+ to play online, why cant SE ask sony to remove the requirement to be signed into PSN to play?

it has to do with some silly verification process sony requires for all games

It's a shame too, I'm almost done with my two months and not sure when I'll be able to play again. The attacks mean that during the last few days I can't really do all that much.

I think that SE is out of this problem. They dild all they could to miss Sony problems.... But not all (

I think it's time for game publishers should push to remove these restrictions .. If netflix and sony can come to an agreement.. It's not completely impossible for Sony and Game developers to do the same. If sony is completely incapable of keeping Psn or returning it to any state of functionality then you shouldn't lock games behind it.

Note to Japanese companies: Communication really does a lot.

I think the reason that PS4 needs to authenticate with PSN for FFXIV is so people can't cheat on trophies by logging into a bunch of other peoples accounts. So you can't log in when PSN is offline.

If that is the case then they can take away the trophies for FFXIV, it's not like they are that important since we have in-game achievements.

Edit: Alx789 it seems everything I own from PS4 games, be it digital or physical, cannot play any games since it all requires PSN to be up which sucks even though I really want to just play my FFXIV.
