So this means they plan to start charging us to play this game later this month, before the game has any real content, still no jobs, still a ton of bugs, and possibly the worst most under developed targeting system I've personally seen.

wow you obviously took whats going on here WAY out of context

this has nothing to do with us being charged for the game

the forums have been in beta since they launched, they are now officialy bringing them up to functional status or whatever you want to call it. They are done testing everything.

the only thing they are doing is making sure you are playing the game in order to post(or at least have an active account that still signs in)

payment has nothing to do with this til its implemented in the future

Not really, sorry, I left out some info from our distributor (I work at a game store), apparently the PS3 version is shipping in Sept. So expect to start paying for this still beta game.

you know theyve been giving false release dates(stores and distributers) for a while now right?
its when they hope the game will be out on ps3, i wouldnt count on an official date til it actualy hits

As for being negative, when we all payed the money for a game and almost 1yr later the game is still not ready for a retail launch, yet they seem to be gearing up for charging, and console release. Well what can I say, I feel like we're being cheated.

I guess all we can do is wait and see, I can only speak for myself but, I won't be paying monthly for a game that still has at least 6 more months of development.

Someone needs to complain about how they're taking out of the old Blizzard book by only allowing active accounts to post on their forums.

I have to agree, I know some will just complain because this feature or that feature from this or that game isn't there. But I think that will happen with people still playing too. And I'm sure some people have very valid reasons for quitting, but if they have no voice, then what are the chances of that player returning.

Does the fact that SOOOO many ppl that say they love the game, spend SOOOOO much time in forums posting thousands of times say anything about how enjoyable the game is?

LOL, I mean the servers are up and active yet the ones that claim to love the game seem to spend the most time on the forums (bashing ppl that have any opinion thats not to their liking) and not playing, Idk always seemed a bit odd to me =/
