SE can this come in 2.4? Is it?
Co-sign, it would help with the interest to que for pvp.
^exactly right.
I too think we should remove the gc restriction.
I have around 8-10 friends I talk to daily online and only one of them is twin adder like me cause he switched.
It's always so awkward, "Hey what GC are you?" "ooh okay was thinkin maybe you'd wanna join pvp but then we can't oh okay bye :((((("
I'm rank 40 so i won't be switching gc and I understand that they don't want to either. But I really wanna play with them and make them love pvp like I do.
Also I think queues would be faster if everyone joined a random GC
The only downside I see to this is that I don't get to play with the "regulars", the ones that always play pvp when I do
Edit:
What Parz3val said, and I actually can't see any arguments to this.Quote:
It's really hard for me to believe that people care more for various other reasons than having the freedom to easily play with or against their friends.
Sometimes I think people are against certain things just cause...actually I don't know.
I might actually do frontlines if they were to do this, the main reason I don't do it at the moment is because I don't like sitting in 30+ minute queues. The GC requirement is silly and has had a large impact on the number of players who even do this content.
Why stop at FC. Why not queue under banner of party choice? What if all members of the party are not from the same FC?
And what happens if you want to be intra-FC competition? So that FC raid 1 can play against FC raid 2 and 3 teams etc.?
Intra-FC competition should be a thing! Albeit for no in-game reward to prevent win-trade.
Weird. If people doing queue for content, queues are long, people stop doing content, people complain about queue times, people what changes so they can do content. Lore be damned. People want to play content. Unnecessary gates for the sake of lore (when it can easily be explained) is just plain silly especially for PvP which is separated from PvE storyline content. I have several FC mates who don't want to do frontlines because they can't do it with friends. So, lets just go ahead and make them jump through a lot of hoops. It's a perfect plan to get more people to do PvP.
Or, let our friends you know actually enjoy playing with their friends. I'm trying to figure out what disadvantage or butt hurt you'd get from letting more people actually play in PvP content?
Look at this thread, people actually WANT to do PvP(frontlines), what is so wrong with that?
I just don't get embracing an approach which so badly restricts play with friends.
It'd be one thing if GC-swapping didn't reset your PvP Rank back to square one.
I also can't wear or glamour my 1k+ Allied Seal gear if I switch GC's just to play with friends, which' ridiculous considering the price-tag.
SE any word on this one?
