Apricot x Royal Kukuru

I am working on that combination right now, attempting to obtain Royal Kukuru. I will post my findings and see if I have obtained Glazenuts as well!

P.S. The Triple-plant cross was discredited. Be sure not to waste anymore time on it!

It didn't seem like the apricot hosted the glazenut seeds, but instead was playing as hybrid support.
So, to save seeds, I've planted T-shapes instead of a full patch.

oblong patch 1 - Grade 3 Thanalan Soil; (Harvested on 5/7)
1st bed - royal kukuru bean
2nd bed - apricot + bag of glazenut seeds
3rd bed - royal kukuru bean + bag of glazenut seeds
4th bed - nothing planted
5th bed - royal kukuru bean + bag of glazenut seeds
6th bed - nothing planted

The results show it doesn't really seem to care which plant is hosting the seeds as long as you have the correct cross adjacent to it.
So, Royal Kukuru x Apricot works.

2nd bed - prickly pineapple + royal kukuru seeds
3rd bed - nothing planted
4th bed - prickly pineapple + royal kukuru seeds
5th bed - apricot (harvested on 5/8/2014 around 2am EDT)
6th bed - prickly pineapple

There's another interesting thing I did with patch 2. Since the Prickly Pineapple finished earlier before the Apricot does, I've re-planted the Prickly Pineapple again.
This means this patch of Prickly Pineapple was re-planted while the previous Apricot was still growing. Of course, the previous Apricot finished a day or so later, which was also re-planted as well.
Prickly Pineapple was ripe and harvested today (5/6/2014)

I think I finally figured it out.

Apricots x Honey Lemon ---> Royal Kukuru (yielded x2 seeds of Royal Kukuru from the Honey Lemon)
So either Apricots or Honey Lemon are the Parent plant for Glazenuts.
So far it seems Apricots were discredited, so I'm attempting the Glazenuts from Honey Lemon. I'll post my findings.

Alright so I just gathered from my Star Anise x Almonds sadly this didn't yield any Jute. Is there anything that's 100% out of interest? (Admittedly my Almonds did bloom yesterday and I got an Azemeya Rose from it but still..)

I really think Royal Kukuru is the key ingredient. I'm hoping nothing has been doctored, it would be very disappointing.
But, when it comes to whether Apricot x Kukuru works, I'm testing it right now.
I had read somewhere that it was discredited, but just to be sure I planted in a 2 x 2 plot:

3 4

1 Honey Lemon
2 Royal Kukuru
3 Royal Kukuru
4 Apricot

I'll post my findings (:

no photoshop lol Apricot and Royal Kuku got me 4 Glazenut seeds. Now here is the really awesome part. I put the 4 glazenut seeds with apricots seeds.... and got 4 more Glazenut seeds, FROM the glazenuts!

Also the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...er=false&gid=7 has Apricot and Royal Kuku listed as a confirmed cross for glazenut.

I hope you didn't read that the wrong way, I meant to say it jokingly as there were too many individual sources that confirmed Glazenut seeds that it is more than likely that is isn't falsified information.
I've even confirmed it myself just with today's harvest.

Great find! The cross of Apricot x Glazenuts would actually save people the extra step of needing to make Royal Kukuru now.

Has anyone managed to figure out Jute yet? So far I've had no luck with Almonds x Star Anise.. (maybe that combination is wrong I'm not sure..)
