It's only a coincidence, I know it. However, I like think the SE used the character that I submitted for the Casting Call contest was used for the throwing knife girl in the rogue’s guild.

Well, clearing it again! I've beaten him a few times before, but he was all that was standing before getting rid of that quest again from my log (had Garuda and Ifrit "re-cleared" literally for months). The problem was mostly a lack of motivation to kill him.

I don't even know what to spend my tokens on now! None of those weapons are entirely relevant anymore, and I don't care for the monk claws all that much, looks wise.

On a random other note! A friend of mine from another LS apparently managed to snatch a screenshot of Odin <Cloe Delisle> on his PS4. What I would do to get a hand on that screenshot! :D Well, the guy emailed it to me just now, so I guess I have proof now! I'll drop it on my website when I'm home.

It totally took me by surprise too, because I don't even remember when I last went to fight/kill him!

You know how other people's chocobos turn to look at you when you are around them? I was waiting for cluster spawn in Mor Dhona in stealth on botanist and someone rocke dup with a chocobo and as I was there waiting, the chocobo turned and looked right at me. I was like

"OMG how can he see me I'm in stealth".
"Well I guess I am not truly invisible, just semi transparent and full of tiny holes"

Aquarius and Libra are kinda hard. Aquarious being the Waterbearer, I figured would be someone holding something, so it is either shiny-rock-bearer, or Lousisoux as Staff-bearer or Delivery Moogle as letter-bearer. For Libra I chose Tonberry cause it is holding a knife and lantern in balance. Gemini would be different in the fact that it would have 2 people and 2 minions.

Does anyone else feel like a compulsive race-changer?

First I was a Miqote for 4 months, then a Roe for 6... now I've been an Elezen for 6. I still love my Elezen, but being tempted by the cuteness of Lalafell.

It's not so bad now Fantasia are unlimited, but still... why can't I be satisfied as just one!

I eh... I've used three this week alone.

I have the opposite problem. Cloe has been a black-haired moon'qote since 1.0 and I decided, for the heck of it to try a pure white hair color for a few days. (It was also with a goal to show off her her dark skin -- black hair made her look very normal.)

While I think the result is pretty nice, it still feels kinda wrong to me! Cloe, what happened to your jet black hair and ears and tail! :O

That's just the same thing for me with hairstyles. In the end I always go back to the roots. The only thing that hasn't changed for months is the facepaint and to be honest, now her face seems "empty" without it.

Emh... No. I just change hairstyle sometimes.

I only switched one time from wildwood to duskwight because my former FC pissed me off, and I make a wov to leave my character polluted by my rage, until I can clear Titan EX and T5.

I cleared this fights but I couldn't return her to wildwood, even if I still have a fantasia, so Meru remain a dark elf, with new hairstyle at every patch :P

I finally got the 5th Item from the Ironworks of Fending set, completing the general look and feel of it. (^_^ )

Well, all was good until I scrolled through 9gag afterwards and suddenly had a Gilseller advertisement between the posts D: My only thought was "Oh Thaliak, please no keylogger or anything". Immediately cleaned any cache my phone got and all... Dunno if I overreacted. Did anyone else have this before after browsing for XIV infos?

It was probably a Google Ad Sense ad. Google collects data on you, from your searches, the sites you access, etc, and base the ads they show on that. The fact that you did a search on it a moment before was enough for Google to say "This person wants anything being sold that's related to that search term!" I see it as being quite privacy invasive but Google basically owns half the net so there's very little real getting away from it <_<

On my Comp I use AdBlock etc., so I don't see stuff like that at all. Wish I could use it on my phone too. (Even though I only use Chrome on my phone and Firefox on my Comp)

Hi friends! I'm still alive. I have not played much for the past month because of my internet connection - there has been issues with my ISP and FFXIV only. So, I took it as a sign, to recover from my tonsillectomy and work on other things in real life - such as spring cleaning and throwing away hoards of stuff, getting myself ready for my teaching job next year (I found out my class, got my computers (plural!) and keys, had lunch with the admin ladies and meetings with the teachers... Woohoo!) and spending time with my pet parrots and dogs.

I logged on today! The lag isn't as bad as it was getting (though, I did do a low level dungeon as a tank and it crapped out a bit... I am also taking that as a sign that I should not level my tanks or rogue to 50 - the last of my jobs xD) and I managed to do a few dungeons. I was happy! Just purchased a wedding so my mate in Western Australia and I are going to get hitched - it will be a comical affair I think. I'm still trying to convince him to be the bouquet carrier because I love the idea of the Roegadyn being the bride to my Miqo'te...

I'm a little sad I've missed 4 weeks of poetics, but, whatchagonnado!
