It's an OK build, but:

• The favor is low, high favor means higher chance of two hits in one zone
• The speed would make a 2 zone voyage take longer than 24 hours

There are plenty of good builds for different purposes, the two I listed are just my favorites for specific purposes with the current Sea of Ash.

So let me get this right. Not only do I have to make the old junk parts, but now I have to trade those in for the new parts? Aka getting screwed twice over. Expensive 10s of millions in mats for the crap parts then 10s of millions more PLUS rare vehicle gathered only mats?

Son of a b!tch! And I didnt think building a vehicle couldn't get any worse :/

if you disassemble a sub do you lose all its levels and start at level 1? Im trying to figure a way to NOT build all these freaking junk parts to trade in for pressurized parts when i already have them EQUIPPED!

In order to use them as a material in the creation of new parts, they cannot be in use and a submersible/airship must always have all 4 parts in place. There's no way around it without swapping parts or starting over.

Well, you do need extra parts. The only leeway is that they don't need to specifically be the ones to trade in. If another type (probably shark) is easier/cheaper or simply available as a leftover from when you were initially leveling the sub, you could use those as temporary placeholders to keep the sub intact while you're upgrading your CUSyC parts.
