Is there any chance we have our current companions as an option from chocobo companion? as the one in FF XI
Can group cutscenes wait for the entire group to skip before proceeding with the game together as a group?
Will goobbue mounts be able to jump as well?
Are there any plans on releasing Blue Mage in the future?
Will there be more usable abilities while riding chocobo's (or any mounts not in battle), for example DoL classes being able to use "Lay of the Land" or "Prospect" type abilities depending on the class?
Will my hero, Hildibrand, come back?
Are there any plans for a class that dual wields melee and ranged weapons, such as sword and gun?
Do you wish that you could have started with all new races, instead of races modeled after FFXI? Maybe a fox girl race instead of miqo’te?
How will new or low level players be able to enjoy the game with experienced or high level players? Or in other words, what content would there be that incorporates players regardless of their current level or experience?
To clarify, content such as minigames, events, quests, or dungeons, that provides a reward that is not level dependent upon completion. Not features, such as level sync where a level 50 player would essentially hold hands with a low level player and obtain no personal character progression upon level syncing.
Have you made a decision on what the next race(s) will be? I am looking forward to a dragonkin or animal type race.
Please look at Guild Wars 2 (and not just the WoW generation of MMO's) for inspiration; i.e. region-based questing, level sync, random events, fast-pace battle, world design, etc.
GW2 has suprassed (in my opinion) other games well into a more streamlined MMO experience branching out from the sea of MMO's that are currently using WoW as a model. I'm having a lot of fun playing that game at the moment... I just wish it was Final Fantasy.
In respect to class/job balance, will FFXIV mimic the industry leader (Blizzard) with a "Bring the player, not the class" mentality?
Will classes be getting anything to help them stand out from their jobs, like skills only classes can use?
will we get open world content like guild wars 2, contet we can just walk into and get a quest automatically as long as were in proximity of it?
Can we have a definite confirmation that we will be able to change our character's name, gender and appearance? And will we be able to change servers at ARR launch? Yoshi-P seemed a bit hesitant and reluctant on some of those aspects in the past.
About player housing. Will we only get either personal housing or free company estate shared by the entire free company? Or are we getting both? And will we be able to invite people to visit our personal house and show it off?
Will the Nov 11th Event be "live" only at a certain time or will we be able to experience it at any time that day?
When will a list of items that can only be obtained in 1.xx be released?
When do you plan to release new jobs coming from classes we already have in game?
Will it be possible to craft or gather (such as dig up in treasure hunting) rare, non tradable items for ourselves in 2.0? Currently only battle classes seem able to get those sort of things 99% of the time.
PS to other players reading and posting in this thread: Please read the entire thread. While asking previously asked questions again may be faster and easier, you're effectively lessening it's chance to be asked by not combining all votes for the same question in the same question. 5 people might vote for it the first time, 3 the second and 7 the last, but 15 all on one instance of the question is so much more effective. Please don't repeat questions that have already been asked. It's an important point to consider if you really want the question to be asked.
PPS: PS notes don't get votes, questions get votes. Please don't "like" this post because you want people to stop repeating questions, only "like" it if you want Yoshi&co to talk about non tradable items not gained through combat. Thank you.
Will new servers sort the 30002 issue so many players have? What is causing this issue at the moment?
Do you have any measure to prevent "Gil" accumulated for RMT purpose to be transferred to ARR?
In ARR, do you plan to prevent people from botting (using third party program to progress character or make Gil) or punish people who doing so? or will you let them be freely as they have been in the current version?
Will there ever be any active aura abilities for classes/jobs?
I.E. Having a party member actively standing near the player maintaining an aura would provide them with addition buffs/benefits, or negative effects on enemies.
E.G. The structures in FFXI campaign battles which heals and gives allied troops HP/MP/TP, perhaps a DoH can construct those on battlefields.
When the level cap is beyond 50 would you stop players from having more then 1 craft to 50?
Is There gonna be More Or Different Background Music For Normal areas in the fields In 2.0 ? More Chocobo Music to choose from ??
Because most ( not all ) of the current version background music are not that good and does not makes me feel like im in adventure
The fix "subclasses" of a job prevent further specialisation, every person has the same abilities with a job - will we get to see further specialisation possibilities in 2.0?
Will mini-games feature within A Realm Reborn? Not necessarily along the lines of Tetra Master or Triple Triad, but something competitive that can be used for fun?
Question: Will there be any kind of card game implemented in this version of FF14?
As int he 3rd players pool the Viera race won as some new race we'd like to see in the game, willw e see this on ARR at launch? will it come in a future patch or expansion? if you do so, will you allow a race change?
I'd love it if it would come when the SAM/NIN are introduced.
What incentives will you provide within combat to keep people from spamming? Will the entire combat system circulate around TP/MP management?
How will the combo system be altered to fit within 2.0's combat?
Do you have anything planned to keep combat from becoming too linear and 'easy'?
Soken mention, in FINAL FANTASY XIV Special Talk Session, the team has paid attention to ambiance sound effects in ARR, will there be crowd ambiance noises on busy streets or taverns like the Quicksand in Ul'dah?
Is there any plans to change the current music for private Chocobo?
Since players can jump over obstacles which would have originally obstructed them if they weren't able to jump, then does this also mean monsters and enemies can leap over obstacles to reach and attack players?
Like the stone pillars as shields in Garuda battle, will we see more raid/dungeon, NM and Primal designs that incorporate environmental interactivity into battle strategy?
will the Gooble jump?
What new content and/or story elements can we expect to see regarding the Twelve deities?
In 1.0, your guardian deity and nameday had no known effects on your character. Are there any plans on changing this with the new character creator options?
