Regarding Job Gauges:
In addition to other gauges, will we ever be able to minimize the size it takes up or something? Just a tiny change so it takes up less space.

Can you please make dungeon drops, Augmented/Upgrade Artifacts be placed into Armoire? Some gears are still forbidden to be placed in there.
PVP has become one of my favorite things to do lately. What are your plans for PVP over the coming years?
Hello! It seems that with every major patch we lose a little bit of customization options for our class/job. A PLD is a PLD is a PLD. There is no real way to customize our character, or to be recognized other than player skill.
Is there any plans to allow us to customize how our jobs play and feel? Materia does not work, because there are stat caps.
Will the restriction on primary stats on over melding be reversed to allow, for example, strength to be over melded onto crafted accessories again.
Can you please push housing back to 4.2?
There's just way too many problems to address right now.
- Per Kotaku, 2 FFXIV players on Mateus purchased 26 homes. Source: http://kotaku.com/two-final-fantasy-...par-1796692020
- Tiny FCs are purchasing mansions for 2 players and 512 players get stuck with smalls/mediums
- "Full" servers are separating communities and causing them to break
- Free Company transfers have not been established yet
- No stepped processes to offer fairness to an already unfair market system
- "Gold rush" failures: Every player and their mothers rush on to the congested servers at 5:00am when it launches and by 5:03am every house is gone.
- Tons of new players who won't stick around in 3 months and charge ridiculous gil
Housing is broken and adding more won't fix it.
We need housing revamped, not the same old 2013 problems.
Firstly I want to say the main story of Stormblood was superb.
I've very much enjoy how White Mage plays now, including the lily mechanic. With that said, confession stacks have a very low proc rate and only a 30sec duration and I'm getting very little use of Plenary Indulgence as a result. Could either the proc rate or duration be increased? Personally I would prefer a longer duration, or even indefinite duration while in combat.
Well NPC housing start opening now now that we have freed them from the empire? The questing zones feel so lackluster without being able to go indoors even if there is nothing to go in there for.
Will you be adding new zones? The zone are currently split 3 to 3 with Doma and Ala mhigo. Which makes them seem small over all. Othard is a huge continent but it does feel like it so far.
Yoshi had promised some Ishgard housing, is that still happening in the future? or is that scrapped.
I played 1.0 and really like my legacy mark. Only problem is most gear hides it and the gear that doesnt hide it is extremely limited. Any plans to have an option to make the mark slightly glow or make the mark more visible ?
thanks
i liked this idea and hit like but wanted to add on and ask if add ons are allowed what would be possible? and would we ever be able to get a add on that accesses the market board servers so could check online the prices like with FFXI and would other interesting mods be allowed? one of the reasons for games like skyrims success is the ability to use mods which adds a lot to the fun and replay ability to the game i guess another way to put it is if we do have mods what will be the scope of the mods and if 1 is very little 10 being skyrim lvl what would it be
Will there be a Duty Roulette: Legacy Raid in the future?
Wanted to experience the old raids such as crystal towers, but the queue time insanely long.
I only can assume nobody do old raids anymore.
How do you tackle this? It is a shame to let those old raids gone wasted just like that.
Can we have 1.0 plot cutscenes to watch ?
Can we also have non-mob/non-hostile mob/boss based duty instance without limited time for group pose for skills etc?
Are there any plans on expanding the Free Company airship system beyond just making them glorified retainers?
Palace of the Dead's references to Tactics Ogre were great. Is there any chance we could see more non-Final Fantasy Square Enix series being referenced, like Bravely Default?
it seems that people have lots of questions they like to be heard and this seems to be the only method to have your voice heard and questions answered that said some people dont have the paitence to check through 30 pages of posts to hit like to see if there question was asked so i was wondering
could you make a letter to the editor thread for each topic? 1 for jobs
1 for glamours and textures stuff and so on you get the point i think
i believe would help a lot kind of like how only people from first few pages get any likes because no one wants to go through all the pages
Currently there is no long term solution in place to encourage players to run older content, especially the original 2.X 24 man raids and Coils. Similarly, the current content only has short term rewards that typically see the content fall off as new things are released and people clear and obtain gear from this content. Is there any chance that we might see something implemented that would keep players engaged throughout the 3 month patch cycle? FFXIV has a short term reward structure and it would be awesome to see there be a long term incentive to play older content and play even newer content for a longer time period.
I love Stormblood, and i love everything in it. My only problem is that there was a Gold Saucer event, everyone grinded it and bought everything they wanted, and now there is no reward that is pulling the players in, i miss the crowd. I know there are new weapons, but they are not as powerfull as a new mount or a new mini-game.
Will there be any new rewards or mini-games in the Gold Saucer?
is there any plan making the fc house yard play the songs that inside the house ?
Will we ever see an expanded set of end game content in addition to just the routine raid tier and 24-man raids? With the end game content being as linear as it is, it seems as if there is ever only one or two things to do per patch cycle to get to the point of being "done". Perhaps more ways to acquire high level gear, or make gear acquisition more horizontal with more choices of gear than vertical progression that ends with everyone aiming for one specific set of gear?
Many Tanks are complaining about the way that their damage is calculated, and how they feel weakened in 4.0, leading to many clinging to ilvl270 STR Gear now that 4.0 accessories are role-locked. Yoshi-P's recent comments delved into the difficulty some Tanks had been having with enmity generation, and what was being done to address these concerns, but the subject of concerns over damage output seemed to be ignored. Can Yoshi-P offer some comment on worries over Tank Damage?
I have noticed in the doma enclave the music you use for the area in paying tribute to Final Fantasy III (SNES) - Cyan's Theme. Seem you have alot of love for that game why is that?
I saw the NoClip documentary on FF14's journey and it was amazing, especially all the humility about 1.0.
I also read the GamerEscape interview in which it was answered that "Starting with 4.0 it feels that we’re finally independent from 1.0. "
Do you think those 2 ideas contrast and what will you do to keep the memory of 1.0, and what Square Enix learned from it, alive?
Have you ever considered turning the best version of 1.0 (namely 1.23b) into an actual experience?
I think it'd be a real treat if there was a seasonal server in which we play a temporary character (a "memory" of long ago) in 1.23b, and once the server "dies" after an allotted period of time (6 months?), and based on what achievements are gained during that seasonal period, rewards can then be claimed for our "real" characters. Adjustments to exp might be needed to make it doable during the allotted time, and the rewards could change when the next "season" comes back.
^^ I will second this question and add to it. Would it also be possible to save our glamour sets from this stationary glam npc to our job crystals instead of individual pieces of gear? That way even when we change gear the glamour stays the same, and we can also have separate looks for jobs that share gear this way as well.
Any plans on upgrading the FC interfaces? It can be a pain with a large FC to sort through every one with out a way to filter by rank, time since login or even alphabetical order.
With the removal of Sustain for the Summoner the Titan-egi has become practically useless. He is no longer able to properly tank and fighting just two enemies simultaneously will be enough to kill him. The only way to continue would be to summon another immediately but it would still take time for him to pull aggro, time which you may not have. Are there any plans to give back Sustain to the Summoner or to at least let the attack magic potency also be the healing magic potency like what was done for the healers?
What demons possessed you to make the level 70 gatherer ability a +1 gp regeneration trait that does not even affect gathering gp generation, I spend several days on getting it, excited to get the trait promised in the last live letter only to see that its 6 instead of 5 gp per tick and still 5 gp per gathered item. Do you hate people that like gathering? O_O?
There are many of us who play Warrior who loved the changes because it focuses on making warrior a tank with high damage and makes their tank skills useful and fun (love upheaval). Will you consider us too when you're thinking of Warrior balance?
I noticed that there are a lot of Roegadyns in Gyr Abania and Othard but only Au ra children were shown. Are we going to see Roegadyn children in Stormblood?
4.0 introduced a lot of new traits and abilities for crafters, and some nice quality of life changes for specialists; however, I have noticed that specialists are quite punished with Whistle While You Work more than they were in Heavensward due to the Quality Assurance trait. With Quality Assurance bumping up the chances of Good quality procs happening more often, why was Whistle While You Work's Finishing Touches left at a 50% success rate (before Steady Hand/Steady Hand II), let alone still consume 10 durability on success or failure?
To me, this feels like an oversight, and makes me question if using Whistle While You Work is worth the stress of Finishing Touches botching my synthesis instead of helping it.
so we've been given this tease of sorts that we will eventually get to take our grand company squadron into dungeons in the 4.x series, are there any current plans for this? are there any details you can share with us in regards to what we can expect from the squadron update?
Any way to implement an option to have a select amount of minion roam your private quarters or houses? I would love to see extra ways to interact with our minions other than Verminion.
About housing; it seems some people are taking advantage of the 3 houses per character rule as far as land goes, so much so that 2 people had a total of 27 houses between them and their characters. Any way this system can be changed so that other players won't have to fight others for land?
Have you abandoned Ishgardian housing? I was so excited to get a manor but now I'm willing to bet you'll say it won't fit into the patch cycle anymore. Were those buildings in the center Dun Scaith related to the abandoned housing?
If players JUST want to transfer their existing House to the new Expansion Housing area, why must we have to buy the plot all over again? If i want to simply move or large FC house to the new zone, why must I re-spend $45,000,000? If I have to buy a new home anyway, what is the incentive to give up our old plot?
With the introduction of jump potions there are alot of people who have no good understanding how to pülay a job at their current level. WOuldnt it be best to finally add a in game parser to help new and veteran players to improve their game? At least its by desing that every job even healers and tanks are also DPS, and the encounters in the game are mostly about doing DPS.
For gatherers and crafters. What is the reasoning behind making craftet gear the best gear and script gear cosidered trash and only worth for glamour.
About Ixion Fate. The congestion when Ixion spawns is really bad. Wouldnt it be better if it would be a Forced spawn monster. Where you beforehand build an alliance and spawn the monster with an item. The way it is now the Ixion FATE its litterally unplayable.
