3.5/4.0 Speculation & Discussion (Spoilers)

Indeed, it's not as though there aren't countless other threads devoted to this very end.

We can do this 'till Judgment Day and trumpets sound. Suffice to say that I stand by my original point that being justified from one's own perspective is not enough, since that's true of everybody. After all, there is no difference between what is right and what it necessary.

I'm still holding to "Ilberd is the Griffin, and he's totes luring the Alliance to a trap on Baelsar's Wall so he can get them killed and use their aether to transform into some kind of Primal. Nero is gonna suggest using Omega to take him down. We'll have to fight the Garleans off Cartenau to get it. Past that, ???". The rest isn't terribly important to me.

I think Papalymo is likely to die. I have had that feeling for a while. I think it is going to be his death that galvanises Yda into action and has her take off the mask for good. I am also betting that Yda is much like Minfilia and has basically been hiding her heritage.

I'm sad they didn't spawn any microchu like they do in FFXIII :c

Looking towards 4.0:

Now that Ilberd "died", I wonder if Yuyuhase will throw Laurentius under the bus and sell out to Zenos yae Galvus. Assuming, of course, they survived the summoning and the sealing ritual.
