did anyone try to log in now? PSN maintanence should be done. im still at work for another 3 hours :(

hmm.. i just opened the psn app on my phone it stills says under maintenance.
Update: I'm now in Sharjah Etisalat Business Center, I spoke to an expert I was referred to, forwarded my case and they will look through it.
Also I hope psn solves it in today's maintenance.
Don't build too much hopes on today's Maintainance, I bet it's not addressing our issue, we are being ignored and their opinion is we should get this fixed by our own isp, and our own isp is so stubborn cause for them it's just a game, so basically they are telling us "deal with it".
My opinion if this doesn't get fixed by end of this week, we want our money back, cause I am so done with all this crap.
to be fair, if SE is aware of this issue seems it would've been a day or two ago in which they need time to investigate it (not talking about SE support).
seeing that Etisalat is a bit slow responding to us, it makes sense they'll be slow responding to SE as well.. ( >_< )
I don't think this thread would help lol, we are only getting negative replies from other players, and maybe even will be locked.
please don't be discouraged and think that. I'm pretty sure SE would understand the frustration of players, they will need time to assist so we need to be patient and wait it out. part of the issue was due to this thread being in the technical thread, we should've posted from the start in the general discussion. so I think now everyone learned about this so the next time an issue like this occurs we can try doing that.
as said from other players, Etisalat and SE are currently communication with each other which is a good thing. I know many of us received different information from our ISP and that added more frustration, but I think now Etisalat is aware of it and maybe they shared the issue with other branches in case of further reporting they know that there's indeed an issue.
let'e keep our positivity and hopefully soon enough we will return to Eorzea.

I would advise you guys to change the other thread name to "can't play on ps4 with Etisalat"... some people there don't really know what's going on and keep saying their ps4 is fine.

Had a call now again from IT Etisalat. They made a project group and they work on it. They informed me, they are in contact with SE and PSN.
I stay in contact with them. So let's be optimistic!!
Lol we are being patient I guess, I mean come on it's been 11 days. If this happened to NA or EU, SE would take action in a day or two. Just because we're a small group they decided not to show their support? At least a message from them stating they would extend our subscription depending on the days would be enough, but completely nothing?
I think it's the opposite actually, they are being supportive since they're working with PSN & ISP on like our behalf, despite us being a small group! & I'm thankful for that because I'm not that good with network stuff and wouldn't be able to get through Etisalat. xD
I'm quite certain SE received direct info about our issue around two days ago when players communicated with community reps in twitter I saw the posts (it was linked here).
SE support is what I can call like a front desk, they wouldn't report everything to the backend team as they attempt to resolve the issues especially when PSN had their own issues recently (which got resolved) but I can imagine it causing confusion when SE support was trying to assist cause it was unfortunately at the same time.
It's a tough situation to deal with but we're getting there! I honestly would be happy to play again, that's all I ask for. < simple minded xD;
