When I think my whm or ast co-healer is too slow with heals, I sometimes (ok, all the time) push them out of the way and take over main healing as a scholar.
Still new to scholar, so I don't trust my fairy at all.
When I bust my arse to keep everyone alive, using every heal and cooldown available and single-handedly saving the group of derpy tanks and dps (and sometimes co-healers) from total annihilation...and then get no commendations, I look like this:

I like to use fluid aura to finish off enemies and sometimes i preemptively use it and the target is now 10 billion ft away. I stare down the tank like, 'yea that's right, I used it'.
I don't know who you are. I don't care what you want. If you are looking for some sweet loot, I can tell you, you're sorely mistaken. But what I do have are a very peculiar set of skills, skills that I have acquired over a very...long...career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let me take all of the dungeon loot, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't let me have my loot, I will look for you, I will find you, and when I do…. I'll be in cleric stance... healing you... until… you die!
The only confession I have is that I won't heal DPS who pull trash mobs on purpose.
Let the tank do it. If you want to tank, play a tank.
I also won't heal other healers who spam Medica II and Regen in the two Main Scenario Quest dungeons. (if they ignore my advice not to do that).
Whenever I enter a dungeon I put the game on full screen. I also usually switch to a PT chat only channel. I have never (and will never) put my attention elsewhere while in a dungeon.
Too lazy to dps now (have been getting yelled at recently when I dps in roulettes..) so now I just pop open netflix or C-Roll and toss heals out and card buff when needed/off CD
I use Benediction more out of laziness then actual need 90% of the time.
Secret unveiled:
I actually prefer healing df groups over people I know. At least I'm already assuming the worst and am therefore ready for it. Friends are much more prone to trolling, and even if they don't realize it, healing through that is a real chore and tires me out.
Other confession: for the first time in my life, I forgot to repair my gear and it broke halfway into the dungeon. But I'll be damned if I tell anyone about it, I don't need to dps after all...I needed a dead tank to realize that my 8k heal suddenly only healed a mere 400 HP /blush.
I don't raise dead lalafells.
In lower level dungeons DR, I let my fairy do all the work while I watch Youtube.
To keep myself entertained, in most roulettes, I just randomly give cards to classes. Like throw enhanced spire on a BLM, or extended bole (with time dialation) on the BRD that never gets hit... Gives me a laugh. I can only imagine what the player is thinking.
I throw regen/aspected benefict on the tank and play on my phone for 20 seconds in low damage pulls ._.'
As someone who hasn't played AST myself, probably the same thing I think when I get a card on me.

Popping my Synastry and Lightspeed and healing wondering why my heals are doing nothing..just to realize I still have cleric stance on. I've done this more times than I'll ever admit.
Well, it sort of relates to healers, so...
Whenever I'm tanking and I don't see the healer Cleric Stancing, I never know if it's because I'm too squishy, or they just don't want to.
If a tank rushes through a dungeon, I ask them to stop, and if they don't stop I let them die.
OK... When my AST was lv35, I would just literally used the instant heal on low level tanks more than the basic healing spell because of my ilv and stat differences. Poor tank...
I was in Castrum Meridianum one time, and I wasn't paying attention and used Medica II. All mobs ran to me, so I panicked and used Shroud of Saints. The mobs then went after my co-healer and I nearly got them killed.
(I am so sorry)
Yesterday I did the Anima quest chain for my white mage, the first of all my capped healers. Been a while since I played a healer.
So when I got to the boss of sohm AL, I got a meteor on me, put it on the same place as the dd, run to the safest spot - and immediately died because of the dragons breath.
Then I realized, where I have actually ran to.
That was my only wipe as a healer ever there.
Sometimes when I am lazy and just dont want do any effort, I queue leveling roulette as a scholar and let Eos heal, while my character is following one of the players (most of the time a ranged or caster). I go AFK and come back with the dungeon cleared and nobody has died.
:)
I've done fights where the dps fail mechanics and we get hit with status debuff and I refuse to cleanse them because who doesn't like a challenge. We clear the fight and I'm like, oh, um Selene was on cool down.
My confession:
People think I actually manage my pets... I've been using the AI since day one. It's yet to fail me...
I've also let veteran dps tank the floor for failing mechanics.
I think I'm going to stop giving heals since I stopped getting commendations.
Seriously tho.. There were a couple A5-6 runs last night that I basically solohealed. Not all, but some. My Weeping City run had 2 dps in my party that spend the whole run dc'd. I spent the whole run dpsing and healing like a boss.
Not even one commendation all night.
Wtf
I've had scenarios like that and got nothing and had scenarios where I didn't do a whole lot and got a bunch. I think people just give to randoms or their friends in the group regardless of what they are.
I'm not sure if you can give commends to people that you queued together with as a party. In my experience, most people default commend to tanks or healers. There are parsers giving commends to people who do satisfactory damage for there roles, and there are also people who give commends based on the characters appearance.
I like handing out commends to people who keep their party members in mind, like Ninja's who goad without having to be told, or bards that actually use songs.
I wasn't sure if you could or not, I've never tried but it wouldn't surprise me lol. I usually do what you do.
It might be a coincidence, but I've noticed that when I use Dark Knight I get less or no commendations compared to when I use Paladin. I want to think I can play both at an above average level, so it made me feel like people had a think against DRKs haha.
It is annoying when you basically carry an entire party or alliance as a healer and you get nothing in return, though...
Me:"sorry guys iam a bit lagging, so i just focus on heal"
Party:"np"
Me:"tq =D"
*also work if you dont want the tank to rush the whole DG, as in taking 2-3 mobs in 1 go.
----
Casting heal in Cleric stance then turn off the cleric stance to cast gravity(holy), happened 80% of the time.
----
Heal + regen on tank then /sit..... Tank will be like "why u do dis =/"
I get annoyed when I see DPS or my co-healer being really lazy in raids/ dungeons etc., so I go over and stand right next to them and stare at them the entire time.
They usually start trying after that.
Just yesterday i use level 3 LB over 1 dead player on purpose just so i can type "heroes never dieeeee"....
After that the rest of party start quoting overwatch meme/pickup lines/jokes until the end of DG
Feels good man
