I tanked just fine at 15-20. Mark targets, run in and pull one target with throw, use flash a couple of times once mobs are around me, begin single target rotation. The only time I lose threat is if someone doesn't follow the marks and I haven't used flash or my single target enmity skill on that target yet, then again we all know that number two comes before number one...right?

Just helped an ls mate and his friend through sastasha on sch. I literally cast no healing spells. I would just /sit nearby and /clap motion at the tank. Eos did her thing and no-one got below 50% hp. 15-20 isn't hard for tanks or healers really.
Now I want to know if it's possible to do it as 4 ACN/SMN without ever activating an ability...

while I do agree that you know better how to work as a team (party) when you also know how the other classes/roles work, I do not think people must do it to understand the mechanics. I have never played tanks in for example FFXI. in fact, I have not even played ANY tanking classes at all until last year (I tanked on a shadow in SWTOR because our tank D/Ced mind-instance ;)).. I still always knew how to heal. been doing it for 10 years now in various games.
I also just finished a dungeon run with a friend of mine tanking who has the habit of keeping me on my toes, which in his case means he pulls waaay more mobs than he should. I still know not to spam medica/cureII/whatever. I still don't let him (or the dps) die. I don't need to play a tank class to know how to keep the tank alive without getting aggro.

Though I do feel the difficulty is appropriate enough to keep you on your toes with harder content, you actually have more control over movement to dodge stuff with controller than you do with keyboard.
