The 2.0 roadmap just says "Radical changes to in-game world." I would say Dalamud falling out of the sky and Atomos spawning at the aether camps are pretty "radical changes" to the in-game world. Doesn't have to mean that the planet is going to be turned inside out.

I'm suddenly very excited about this game.
