DT releases in TWO MONTHS - they aren't going to overhaul the graphics update now.

Even if nothing else goes wrong (and I'm not holding my breath), I'm sure there'll be another big wave of DDOS attacks, just because some people get a laugh out of being jerks.

For those that don't remember the original characters way back didn't blink and people found it off putting so it was changed, also they had the same dead eyes as in the "graphical update" and the white dot was added to give em a soul. Say what you want but i feel this "graphical update" might be more to accommodate consoles then PC's.

Consoles haven't been the problem since they dropped PS3 support back in Stormblood. Potato PCs have been holding us back since then.

PC players always want to blame consoles like they all have PCs that can match a PS5.

Yeah, I always expect issues on launch days, and a day or two after.
Better to be mentally prepared.
If nothing else it'll end up better than expected and that's just a positive surprise then.

Console Players or folk who want to use personal management of funds as an excuse of why they can't run Programs.

It doesn't matter what the reason is, yall should really stop with all the broadbrushing. These ain't some picket fences that are getting redone to match a theme.

SE can literally push the hardware if they wish.

Only now do they seem to finally had something for them to push.

People or Gonna be Cheap and milk every drop they can out of their situation.

It's just a topic of what SE needs to do if you want higher and higher requirements for Graphics.

And that'll likely be when a "The Second Graphical Update" will show up.

and that Probably will have SE to set a higher Benchmark before it releases.

(If it isn't in two years, whenever that comes. It'll likely require 5060's minimum)

Tldr: Let's not broad stroke, we don't know folks situations.

In things like this, you either have or don't.
Match the tide, or every single ripped in the water is a giant wave.

Considering the status of the issues and how badly all 3 regions have complained, im sure YoshiP will have to delay DT again, and cry on the LL to farm good will.

Hope not. It really depends, to me the complaints have fallen into two categories, basically being real complaints, and nitpicks.

The real complaints are things like texture seams, bad lighting, low fidelity textures, pixelation, ect. I actually found these complaints to be pretty uncommon, or having a shared issue across races of the character creator lighting sucking ass.

Then there were the people doing intense draw overs of their faces because they don't understand the concept of polygon faceting,
I really don't think its worth delaying DT for issues like these becuase they're largely subjective and ultimately don't matter much. I also wonder if its even possible to get a point where issues like those ever truly go away.

Someone already made a very good explanation on where the issues are: They broke all the faces below the upper mouth. This isnt just a texture problem, its a model issue!
