The lip issue is definitely still there… and nowhere is it more apparent than my portraits and adventurer plate! I usually use the grin emote for my Lala and it doesn’t look even close to her original mouth. When I get a chance, I’ll post some side by side comparisons. Funny enough, she looks great in cutscenes, but her facial expressions are way different in portrait and gpose now.

My lalafell looks like she got stung while trying to eat a bee. :(

Dark skinned made me look so greasy now lol.
Stockholm syndrome keeps me playing like this lmao

I really thought they were going to fix the mouth issues. After the graphics update, I changed some of my job plate portraits as she almost looks doll-like. I have noticed that she has a weird shadow around her upper lips. This is very noticeable when she opens them.
I am using mouth 2 on Dunesfolk. Is anyone else noticing this issue?

My lalafell's mouth is way smaller than it was before--maybe they overshot when trying to fix the teeth to mouth ratio? That in combination with the top lip being extra thin makes my sweet Plainsfolk Lala now look perpetually annoyed and out of patience with everything. :(

Here’s a side by side of my portraits… left is EW, right is DT. Only changed the gear and background. Otherwise the pose is exactly the same.

Biggest issue is that the lips aren’t as full as they were. Both lips are reduced, but the upper is almost gone. The other thing you can notice is that the eyes are definitely a different shape: this isn’t an optical illusion, her eyes are looking in the same direction in both pictures, but you can barely tell in the DT picture! lol Cheeks were also made fuller, so the face paint looks stretched.
Oddly enough, all this isn’t as obvious when viewing the character in cutscenes. But when you’re making portraits or using gpose, it’s definitely noticeable. It isn’t a lighting problem, it’s different shapes! I’m glad that my character didn’t have as severe differences as others did. But if it’s some sort of scaling error for certain facial features, I would hope it would be fixed.

Female lala nose smudge isn't dark anymore, just a much lighter shade like you showed before :(
