Cutesy bullcrap, dumb puns (most stolen from me), and dimply smiles laced over harshly elitist opinions and breathless self-endorsement. How this sort of content gets such traction is beyond me.
Her new thing with trolling these forums and reacting to opinions she doesn't like pretty much cements the kind of person she is. Everything with her opinions and reactions, she doesn't even bother to attempt humorous content beyond making bad jokes. At least she used to disguise it with machinima. I guess when you're raking in the money like she does you don't have to really put an effort in anymore. Especially when you're popular enough that you can gatekeep who can interact with you behind "sub-only chat" and now using her influence to get her simps to donate to her pet causes.

There's probably tons of people out there who do her job better than she does, but simps gonna simp.

Furthermore, when I said she was FFXIV's version of Pokimane that wasn't sarcasm. That's pretty much a dead-on description of her.

Sad that I have to get this verbose, but apparently you're not allowed to have an unpopular opinion without an order signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters.

Zepla isn't really that great of a streamer to begin with. She is definitely elitist and cries when she doesn't get something from RNG and has someone get it for her. Someone called her the "heart of the community" she is not. I rather take Mr Happy then her anyday

Listen to her talk about the game and how only the highest end content matters. She rarely, if ever, criticizes some of the poor decisions Squeenix makes and there's literally no conversation with her unless you're a sub.
The biggest example was when she talked about ultimate raids and compared them to "halo cars" (Cars designed with so many bells and whistles that no normal person could afford one.) Somehow she attributed this to beneficial the whole player base in deference to some screwball notion of how it "trickles down" to the rest of us. She's clearly out of touch, but that's what her position as the top FFXIV streamer affords her. That she doesn't have to suffer the little people, until she's on the lam and needs her simps to pony up more dosh.

I think it's laughable that you'd assume Zepla has any idea who I am or would take any notice of my opinions. After all, I'm no one who's worth mentioning because I'm not famous or a top flight content creator.

Criticising someone successful doesn’t automatically mean jealousy. Had she been unknown Id still have the same opinion.
Its cringe seeing a 40 year old trying to act like a teen.
And I agree, bringing someone down for your satisfaction is sad as hell, but not every criticism is given for satisfaction. You either like some people or you dont, in real life as well, its that simple.

Criticism is fine, even not liking content or people is fine and dandy. But voicing your hate for a person isn't criticism and you deliver the perfect example there. "It's cringe seeing a 40 year old trying to act like a teen" is not criticism, it's just plain old hate. Same with all the people hating her cause of her looks, that is no criticism. But you do you, freedom of screech and all that right?

So yes, if you try to hide your plain and obvious hate as criticism while showing yourself from your nastiest side then one might come to the conclusion that you are just really really jealous and sad. IF I was to hate on someone for being successful dont you think Id pick someone that actually offers more to the ffxiv community and makes more sense to “hate their success”?

Take it however you wish, a 40 year old woman with plush bunny ears scream reacting to bunny boys is cringe to me, and not the definition of success just because people like you gave her views, so if you like that and cant accept anyone else can dislike someone you like then I don’t know what to tell you.

It's not that you dislike stuff, it's how you voice it. On one hand there is the civilized way of not liking something and walking away from it and on the other hand there is spilling your vitriol and hate everywhere you can.

Maybe question yourself why you focus so much on your hate for things instead of well...whatever you enjoy. But it's your life and choice and even tho you voice your "criticism" in the worst way possible well it is your freedom to do so.
