Retainer Level?

Yep just like i said it would Gather enough / what you really need. Like i said so many time in this topic it would get you junk and maybe rare items :) but at least now we have a dev to make everyone clam down.

1) I doubt their gathering will be so powerful as to make it worthwhile to rely on it for very much.

What if they "gather" only low level things like shards or even better items we can't gather ourselves?

I think a few simple things can balance this:

1) charge a small fee
2) the retainer isn't avialable for other purposes while gathering
3) player must furnish the gathering tools
4) keep the amount of items obtainable to a reaosnable level (maybe based on the retainer level)
