People have been asking for this for a long time, many people have gone on to use 3rd party things to make the game look better, GShade being one of the main ones because it makes this game look fantastic, the games original lighting is my core issue with how dated this game looks, and fortunately along with the graphical overhaul includes the lighting being re-done and hopefully with it the ugly "brown" lighting that makes this game look so horribly dull.
this one is a good upgrade. as good as we can get here.
With the amount of Gpose warriors, Fantasia addicts, and Glamour fashionistas even if you were right and this game didn't need this update, this Is a war you would never win lol. That said I can't wait for this update to come through :D
Some filters can slightly improve the quality. But they cannot deliver wonders. Against low res textures, false placed light sources etc. you cannot do anything with filters.
