Well I did, but couldn't get out of my room in Grid and it wouldn't log me off. So I had to force it. Now I can't get back on. I am at the Character log-in screen, but my Character ain't showing up.

Damn it, I was only the 827th person to log in...

Got into Selbina (Ridil or w/e) and got my retainer set up. Now trying to get over to Excalibur and get those setup and getting lobby error, SPAM! ENGAGED!

Hope the servers are crowed at least..

This is really making me wish I logged out in my moghouse.

crashed on market wards, forced closed - now cant get back in....

I do... try more like 6 hours and with a lot more data than this game has in totality.. we're talking 16 terabytes+ of data being merged not just to different version of a server operating system but new hardware. 8 almost 9 years as a Server Administrator.

Oh and at least when I merge servers, I add an additional 2 hour buffer (in case Active Directory, for example breaks, or Exchange).. And only ONCE have I ever needed buffer time and that was less than 1 hour. My team and I have a success rate of higher than 99%

lol @ 17+ hours.


As I mentioned before: SE get rid of your Administrators and their team(s). Hire a real and professional Network Operation Center team. Like me! :D
