I gotta say, this is a full numbered VU, the fact that there appears to be no new recipes for Blacksmith and a single one for Culinary is pretty unacceptable. This just hammers in how useless it is to even lv crafting classes when they don't seem to put much care into introducing a balanced amount of recipes between the classes. And heck my main is Carpenter, while I"m glad to see that we at least have options, it's not fair to people who specialized in those other crafts to now be penalized for a lack of options in their craft of choice.

They wanted specialization as a means to allow people to just lv 1 craft class and yet when a VU doesn't offer them any new recipes, then what's the point? The recipe list in itself seems to be suggesting that you have to lv all your crafts if you want any content in the game otherwise you are rolling the dice each patch if your craft will be relevant or not. Maybe there will be more recipes on Thursday, but it definitely feels like something they should expand on because if there are wanting to keep players hyped, they aren't doing it by showing 7/8 craft classes as having new recipes.

Seems a bit weird that all the new content, relic, 24man raid & primal, all drops gear lower than what we already have

guess have to wait and see tomorrow

But it's neither of the two added hairstyles on the patch notes...

Yeah that's weird. But 3.5 has two more parts, so we might still get it soon. It would be nice to get a hair that is better than the Lightning one.

I was kinda salty when I realized it wouldn't be coming this patch despite the tease. But at least there were no "Modern Aesthetics" to be found anywhere either, so here's hoping it won't be used as grind reward at least <.<

That's always how its been. (for between patches)
If you do Savage, the gear is lower.
If all you ever do is casual content, then it is either equal to what you can get, or better. (just not savage good)
In hopes of getting people into Savage.

While Savage players will use the new gear on their secondary jobs. (Ill be using dun scaith and the primal to gear up my healers.)

I think how they are doing the cross server party finder is awesome, now its sayin you can keep up with players from other worlds now thats pretty cool.

Nobody knew that in the early days though, everyone expected it to be like the earlier FF game where you flew into him to initiate the process.
