I would support jump potions for alts and only to a level that their main account is at. This would include bypassing story, dungeon unlocks and so on. I would not support them from the point of view of leveling a new role. Those in my view should follow the normal progression that one has to do with a main toon if they elect to level bard or ninja or astro etc – that is starting that role at level 1 or level 30 or whatever the normal starting level would be even come Stormblood.

The actual Class and Job quests are under utilized as a teaching method. Some of the fights require a mechanic, however it is not reinforced as they level or added upon. This is where I would like to see SE improve the teachings of classes/jobs. Especially if they are going to revamp them in the future and remove classes.
PotD is flawed, simply because it is on a timer. A new player inside PoTD has to have a lot of self reliance to learn on the fly with trial and error. If they struggle, they will just grind 1-20 solo for the XP and learn very little.
Why the most common ideology between both sides and the JP forums are to have SE actually have a system that teaches actual job rotations and how that job performs in group content. This should be implemented regardless if potions come or not. -
