Seriously though, it's not hard to find even a semi-original first&last name. You just proved it for me, too. ;)

No way do I want to shorten names. A very close friend of mine and I have the same surname, since people always thought of us as twins. Beyond that, a RL friend of mine and her boyfriend have the same surname in-game as well.

I like being able to do something like that, so I definitely want surnames to stay.

Mine was a last resort and I'm still not comfortable with it. Oh well.

Keep the lengths the same, just abolish the last names, it's annoying to type when inviting to a party, adding friends list, or sending a tell.

That's a shortcoming of the party and chat systems, not name length.

It would only make sense to make another thread to state for the majority of player who DO NOT want changes to an already functional name system. Those who find wishy-washy inconvenience to sur-names, will just have to suck it up like life itself.

Ofcourse, I vote NO to changes.
