Don't give it to us as a mount, make it fast along with other obstacles that try to slow you down. Then put it in a time attack race, in the gold saucer. You could give a prize based on your time.

My response to them not releasing bike because of its speed is still the same. Give it 2 speeds like running/sprinting... or...

Will be good if like in wow you have your 80% mounts like current and 110% lv 2 would probs work at 30% more speed but would look silly going normal ground speed.

But don't forget how silly the mana cutter looks on ground and I've course the broom hovering along the ground makes them look silly so whats wrong with a bike mount again?

i was saying this with a few friends last night, if they wanted to they could put it in dungeon where it does go fast (like the magitek walker scene where it could shoot long before we could shoot) then it could be stuck in a lowe gear until they figure ut ho to make it faster, by adding in a sprint to the mount would be cool :D then the mount could move faster for a short while.

There's no doubt that with the upcoming release of FFVII-R there will be some massive marketing involved including a gazillion of crossovers in FFXIV to advertise the game.

People here are too optimistic saying the bike will land on the cash shop, it will be more like "Get Collector's Edition FFVII-R Part One with Cloud's Bike Mount for FFXIV" They will charge the Collector's 50 euro more and people will be happy to shell the cash out.

Flying ships with some rotors are more believable than a flying motorbike. The bike doesn't have wings nor chopper rotors.

so the ship is just as believe able as a flying obese bird who flys by the sheer will of cake, magitek mounts who, have no MEANS of flying and yet can somehow hover in the sky with no logical (or lore) reason given, more logical then a turtle who can not only run the same speed as the fastest animals in eowrziea but will soon fly, and yet the multiple ways they could make the bike fly is not believable? also 'the bike doesn't have wings nor chopper rotors' nor does the ADS mount yet that can fly or the magitek and it's 'wings' doesn't even move to give it flight. :P

so giving it a rotor or having the wheels split to reveal hidden rotors, or even having it fly by a powerful jet in the back, making the bike transform slightly to fly, ect. is an impossibility that is not beleaveable?

Agreed, it's terribly out of place. I would accept it being a temporary mount you can ride during a promotional crossover event (which is inevitable with the remake) but not a permanent addition, at least not that exact bike. I'd rather see something that better suits the aesthetic of this game.
