*How I feel when someone like this tries to speak for all Americans*

......never speak your opinion for an entire country. >_>
Opinion.... proposal.... thoughts..... actually, I have no idea what you're doing. o_O
Somehow, I highly doubt all your claims. I would have expected more from a chemist and technical engineer. Though, I guess they do say theres a difference between 'book smarts' and 'street smarts' (common sense).
Therefore, I'm just going to assume this is a troll attempt. >_>
Looks like OP has been drinking too much of Donald Trumps' Jesus Juice.
Hm...seems like trollbait, but I see no reason not to have some fun.
"Socialist" ? What? You mean the social aspect of the game and not the political party, I'm assuming. And as stated, this is an MMO. You're meant to play with other people to succeed. I enjoy the fact that I can solo most of this game in a very selfish way, truth be told. In all honesty, I think it needs more content and fixes that encourages players to work together. That alone would likely handle the whole super casual vs. elite issue that the game has.
And please exclude me from your "Americans" snippet. The game has its faults, but I'm not subscribing to your views.
Crafting itself is not broken, and a lot of people find it very fun. Perhaps you personally do not, but I do, and so do all the other people out there that main crafting classes. The only real issue with it now is that crafted gear doesn't mean as much as it once used to (and in my opinion, nowhere near as much as it should). As for your jobs...that's irrelevant. You can play the game and pace yourself however you'd like. I have a full plate as well, and I still managed to get most endgame content done and level everything I wanted. Mizzteq is an X-ray technician and not only plays a lot, but has enough time to make in-depth walkthroughs for all the endgame content.
And Fallout 6? Damn, I must be behind, I'm still fighting through Fallout 4! O_O
No. Not, it will not. There is a difference between a one-time release game and something like this. Whenever a big game I've been waiting on comes out, of course I play FFXIV less. But the key difference is that those games end. FFXIV is an MMO and, by definition, does not.
At least, not for a decade or so.
If anything, FFXIV doesn't have as many people playing right now because of the way they're handling content (it being the same exact grind over and over again for the exact same rewards with no real lateral progression, plus other things that we've complained about for some time now) and the fact that two large games (Tomb Raider, Fallout 6...er, 4) just released. I've been coming home and jumping on Fallout more than any other game -- but I guarantee you, my subscription is still active, and I still do log in and play.
