Seeing as that was only a sampler, I am hoping they re-arranged those tracks too, or at least completely replaced them.

Now that's the music that should be played in the game!!! I'm really looking forward to playing with the new music. It's truly majestic!! The final fanfare is... the soul of Final Fantasy!:cool:
Exactly how I feel. I've been telling the other forums the same thing, some don't think it sounds "Ivalice", don't know, I guess they don't have a musical ear.
This is the sound this game should have had from the start, and its finally becoming a reality. All I need now are my FF jobs back and I'm here to stay.
Now THIS is Final Fantasy music! Sounds like its gonna make me forget about Sand O'ria and Bastok themes. I just hope they change the battle music, it really sucks, I think is the worst of ALL FF in history.
so we have the Ifrit and chocobo tracks that seem to sound the same. Then these two here that are rearranged. Trying to listen to the whole Soundtrack to get the before tracks. All going in the right direction.

Awesome... just plain awesome.. I wanna cry ; ;
There's no confirmation that these aren't Uematsus compositions yet even though I don't see his kanji's : 植松 伸夫 anywhere (correct me if I'm wrong).
Also anyone who has bought the CD's can tell just by looking at the box that all songs were composed by Uematsu but arranged by a bunch of unknown guys. I think this is the reason why we have 300 instruments in every single track.
I always loved Uematsu's more simple tracks from the time when everything didn't have to sound like it came out of Hollywood.
Sarutabaruta fields, LL fields and the music he did for IX all very simple arrangements but they just highlight the beauty of the melody itself.
This is also why almost every single track from Uematsu sounds awesome on just piano.
Have you heard this for example:

Who could have known there's such a beautiful song underneath all those instruments?
