If your going to argue this point. You should understand gender does not equal your sex.

"Cross Dressing" is more of a form of expressing one's gender not their sex.

I agree with allowing guys wear dresses if they want to (other games have done it but I believe those games used more of a texture base armor system and not models) Modeling armor to fit different models and skeletons takes time.

I agree with guys be able to wear the bunny outfit, even more if they get a male dancer Magic Mike style bunny outfit ;)

Time will tell if SE wants to do this or not.

i only wants the bunny ears and tail... the male outfit is ugly D:

Those two topics sure had/still have? a lot more support than the actual one, but aren't they actual character/body modifications? I know nothing about the work needed so I might be completely wrong here but it would seem easier to me to remodel/create a few gear than to add a hips option for all races.

Despite how I feel about cross-dressing, all I'm saying is that they may have the same end in that Squenix just doesn't care and people will tell you not to care.

How lame that the bunny outfit is female only. That really irks me. It sends the message that only females should dress in something designed purely for sex appeal. Men? Oh, no, they can't be eye candy. No one wants to see that. How icky. [/sarcasm]

Skimpy clothes that are supposed amp up the sex appeal will be designed and cut in such a way as to cover just the right things and accentuate the body's sexy features. It seems obvious to me that a male version should have a different cut and style while still maintaining the same overall sexy/skimpy level. I don't know where some people get this "skimpy outfit for males = cross dressing" thing (which I have no problems with, I might add -- you want your guy to wear a dress, I'd say go for it).

This is exactly my problem with it! Part of what drew me to the game in the first place was that the outfits weren't hyper-masculine for men and skimpy eye-candy for women -- it was very good on gender equality. But as more and more outfits get added, they seem to be gender locked. And barring a few exceptions, almost all the gender locks are in favour of ladies. To quote the first post, if Hildibrand can wear a dress, why can't I? :(

But right now I'm more focusing on male gear no matter if they are feminine or not than cross dressing in itself. Many people don't care at all but as someone who really likes glamour I'm being more than bothered by the little bits here and there that some characters get in more and that in the end starts to add up a little too much imo.
The reactions to the possibility of the Setzer's outfit from female players was a huge thing on my previous thread and now that it was just a mistake the 'gender equality or riot' has suddenly died down or is deemed unreasonable.

tldr all i want is a male Chippendale outfit and right now except laziness se doesn't really have an excuse for not giving us one too.

The problem stay still that SE goes out of their way once again to make gear just for one part of their players while the other part would have also want be able to get it.

I really hope they do listen and take the feedback seriously. Also, I do 100% agree gender inequality should stop. They usually do take the feedback and listen, so if we stay positive and keep posting, hopefully they will consider and find a way to make everyone happy. :)

To be fair, if Setzer's outfit was male exclusive and the bunny-girl female exclusive, it's incredibly sexist. I'm glad they made Setzer gender neutral, but we're still stuck with the same problem of the bunny outfit being gender locked. Why square doesn't just make every outfit from here-on-out gender neutral, I don't know.

Please no more bra showing stuff for females. Or have choice to close open coats, tops and jackets up. Here's looking at you Kirimu Coat. And, longer skirts please.
