6. The armoury system allows for more uniqueness than any other MMO I've ever seen. You can build the class you want the way you want, with a large deal of grey area for what's good and what's bad.
7. I walk most everywhere but teleporting is nice when you're in a hurry. FFXI totally didn't have teleporting at all, oh wait...
8. The times are changing and so is even FFXIV's party system.
9. People should play well for the sake of playing well, obnoxious death penalty or not. In other games I don't avoid death to avoid the penalty, I avoid death because it's the mark of a bad player. For me all I see a death penalty as is a frustratingly stupid time sink.
10. Not going to argue with that one but that's why I'm still playing. There's 18 classes to rank to 50, story missions, class missions, side-quests, marks skills and top-rank gear to name a few. When the actual end-game stuff hits I'll be 50 and ready to go.
11. The wards certainly have more life in them than a menu.
