permit FC queueing for Frontline

Say I'm in the Immortal Flames but my FC is Allied with the Twin Adders. why can't I be of the opinion that the Twin Adders should claim Carteneau Flats?

No one said you couldn't have an opinion of who should claim carteneau.

If you start having such opinions, thats when you know you need to switch factions, something which your allowed to do.

that's like saying Americans who were against the Vietnam War need to move and change citizenship.

it's one issue, why can't you be loyal to them outside of that? i want to keep earning Seals for my GC so i can buy their furnishings and wear their company gear for glamour.

Well TBH, many americans protested and stopped the war. You didn't need to change citizenship or move.

But in war, the last thing you want to do is recruit someone who is aligned to another faction. They possibly can be a spy. Even when people switch citizenship they can still turn around to bite you. Look at "Anzor Tsarnaev" the Boston Bomber. =d

Sorry, balance of game design over personal needs. I understand the frustration but until we can come up with methods to keep such things like GW2 happening all over again, its going to have to be this way.

Yes, when China, British and US are going into a war, you do have to choose. When 3 nations are in a dispute that must settle by lethal force, you do have to decide where your loyalty belong to.

I also find it intersting and amusing to see what kind of mindset does a HK citizen have. Who do you loyal to? There is no guarntee that these three nations will never go into war in the future. Whose side are you on? You are not going to get a chance to be option out when this occur in real life. You must choose one fraction.

i haven't been accurately described the game imbalance that this would cause. especially since FFXIV is still mostly a PvE game.

Frontline isn't lethal force, if the lore allows us to go in there fight each other and come out and still team up to investigate the Binding Coil, it ain't that serious.

depends on why the war was started, did China invade Taiwan? did the NSA hack Chinese servers that brought down critical infrastructure and refuse to turn over anyone responsible? it depends.

Depends on what? You are the one who trying to apply this topic with Reality reference I am simply show you the fact of reality. Who cares for what reason? They could be fighting for scarce resource for sake of their own citizens in the near future.. They are in the War right now and you must choose because you are only be side with one fraction. Who do you choose?

It is same logic, three GC are fighting over the Ruin, there is no right or wrong, only strong preveils and you can only server under one GC.

everybody should care? people who allow their country to start an unjustified war are terrible people. i'll choose whoever i thought was right, either by protest or donations.

if it's just for resources, in the case of the game, i care more about my Free Company.

if this is true how come i can earn Company Points for Company Actions when i'm not a member of the Grand Company that is Allied with my Free Company? your "only serve under one" is wrong.

I don't know why this hasn't happened yet.

Queue times have become ridiculous, if they opened this up & made it queue on a "priority basis", it could improve queue times so much.

Additionally, less restrictive gameplay is a huge PLUS.

Faction based pvp = always garbage.
zerg instance pvp = always garbage.
Bringing pvp to a game of lore junkies = always garbage.

So yeah I hope you get your change OP, we all know if some things dont change we looking at 11 2.0.
