More Raid content please!

What if....8 manplayer character content is raidz and 24 man player character content is MEGA-RAIDZ!!!

That makes it better yes? No?

Really does it matter. Go in to whatever you are going into, smash dat shiz, get gears. 1-10-45 players....

I have been in other MMO's where Raids were HUGE. Lot's of people, big areas, lot's of miscommunication, big flashy lights and lag, a lot of people doing whatever the fekk they wanted. Sometimes the bigger the group the easier it is to be carried, afk win, or just do whatever you want. It's hard to keep track of a bunch of ADD DPS and keep them in line. DOTS...DOTS...and more ....'s

I think it is fine as it is now. Not everyone progresses the same. Some people if they get into a large raid group might freak da fekk out and pop.

We can't have that now can we.

I don't want to have top-end multi-party content. Organizing 8 players for Coil is tedious enough, with all the peeps having work, family, and stuff, as all old-school gamers from the past are now 24+ yrs with a real life (well except for fulltime unemployees) and limited gaming time. FFXIV does it really well in my opinion to suit such audience. Multi-Party Raids are ok imo, but only on a difficulty level like Extreme Primals but not Coil.

It's important when they act like there are literally no raids in the game because of their extremely limiting definition. There most certainly are, and I agree we could have more. To act like the game has none is ridiculous though.

Alright now what if every mob just had a million hp but did 0 dmg is it still better?

After all the terrible times I've had in CT with people trolling it, Or using it as their own personal spirit bonding session, I'd prefer they stick to 8 person content.

I'm glad you brought this up because i agree that we could use some somewhat difficult larger raid that'd be alright(not a fan of really large scale ones because then the dungeon tends not to be hard it's just about finding a bunch of non brain-dead members), but that's not what the OP seems to believe.

I would not call Crystal Tower hard. Would you? Its not "tough" at all. Yet it is the raid in FF14.

Binding Coil, whether talking turn 1 or turn 9, is a single-Full Party event. One is not more than one, therefore Binding Coil is NOT a raid.

FF14 needs some more RAIDS, and it needs TOP END raids, not "a step below top end" raids.

That being said I don't believe that people should be rewarded with the best gear in the game for being able to form a party of non brain-dead members maybe some nice side grades a tier below the best, and give it a loot lockout instead of a weekly so you can choose what you get........ oh wait that's CT(don't get me wrong I'm not saying we don't need new large party stuff, I basically just want things like CT that are harder but give the same loot that CT already does, maybe 5 ilvls higher.
