Lv50 loot shouldn't be tradeable for GC Seals.

What's so hard about "if you want a particular piece come as that job"?

Like why is this sooooooo hard for people? You want a healer robe? Then heal the dungeon. You don't have any ground to stand on claiming you deserve something more than someone who is classed for it. So what if they trade it for seals? Once they own it they can do literally anything they want with it. When you enter a dungeon as a role, your scope and reward is limited to that role. So if you want a certain piece that's not for you, better hope the person it is for has a heart. Because from a moral standpoint they have every single right to need it. This is ridiculous.

I would change the need requirement to be "if it's your job AND your current gear is <= iLevel" (less than because its probably an upgrade, equal because green i70 is a toss up over Darklight i70 for example). This is a terrible idea since some theoretical BiS pieces can occasionally be a lower ilvl for a class. For example, Royal shoes were better than Argute Boots or Allagan Boots of Healing. Someone who wants to customize their secondary stats would get shafted.

If my class' item drops, I basically have won the Greed roll. I don't see the problem here. I Need the seal, so I press the button called "Need". I don't see how it's Greedy at all, because Greed is located at the second button

It's not like my class' items will ALWAYS drop. If I play as a mage and a monk's gear drops and the guy NEEDs it, well darn they won the thing. I can grudge, I can grumble, but maybe they slept with the Random Number God(dess) last night and I shrug and continue my life cycle

I understand your position OP but I have to say, i greed everything that's non role, and I do greed stuff that I could need so slightly different. But, I do NEED GC seals and unfortunately with the lack of FATE running going on the only way i can get GC seals to keep my retainers active is to get dungeon loot and trade it for GC seals.

So perhaps your NEED to wear differs from my NEED to get GC seals and you don't like that. But, I still have a need for the item and who are you to judge my reasoning for lotting on something that I need.

That is exactly what it's coming to. On RO only one person would get the drop from an MVP and it was the one who dealt the most damage.

In WoW's last expansion, you have to get seals to just be able to have a chance to roll "need" for LFR and Flex. You run normal with people you know and hope they don't stab you in the back for a piece of gear, or wait for RNG to be good to you.

The topic of gear has been dripping in poison for years.. everyone is out to get theirs, no matter how MMOs change their loot system to try to appease the player-base.
