Too bad that he didn't complain about the community protesting, he complained about websites spreading obvious misrepresentations that anyone playing the beta could easily see as false.

Too bad he said FOREIGN SITES instead of naming specific sites, as if all foreign sites do are try to bash him. Besides, anybody who knows anything about press relations knows you either explain the system or publicly announce that they are false, instead of making a tweet with a sweeping generalization to the only demographic who already knew that those were false rumors.

Foreign sites were actually spreading false rumors, so he said exactly that foreign sites were spreading false rumors. Nowhere he said that ALL foreign sites were spreading false rumors.

Yea I remember that whole deal. I said much worse than he did to people on forums = D

People were freaking out and believing that "Only get to play 8 hours" stuff despite those of us in beta saying "Dude, that's a lie". It got to be quite frustrating.

Is the 2nd one generalizing forum posters? Yes, if you can say that, then Tanaka's tweet was generalizing foreign sites as well. You are reading into it that he's only talking about certain sites, but the wording used is saying that all foreign sites do that.

Reading comprehension is useful for being offended. No where did I say I was offended, but yes, he handled it badly. Also way to ignore the part that was most relevant, where he tweeted about how foreign sites are full of falsities to the only demographic that already knew that instead of letting the foreign players know the truth.

Tanaka did absolutely nothing else than calling it like it actually was. That's all there's to it.
