I hope this game doesn't become like FFXI

I agree with TC..
I want to play FFXIV lightly.. I don't want to be pressed by preposterous timesinks..
I loved FFXI.. I played it for 5 years, say what.. but back then, I was still in school.. things have changed..

I wouldn't have a problem with it being like FF XI at all but at the end of the day this is FF XIV not XI it's never going to be exactly the same is it. This game was built to enable casual play and hopefully hardcore to eventually.

Not sure if people read any of the development letters. The last battle rehaul letter clearly said they're developing new material with solo players still in mind. And I recently went back to ff:xi after a 4 year break and I'm loving it, I play it casually and so far I'm having a great time with it.

not gain casuals vs hardcores pls.
In bold state: this game actually need something, if not difficult at least engaging, making a game too easy it's just like have a "gimmeuberequip" button

It's funny how people hate this thread and are taking attention to it. If you hate the remark so much, why are you still in my thread? Anyway,my job is done because I wanted to tell my feelings to the FFXIV team and I am sure that they read this topic with attention.

Square is not going to grant your request because your reasoning behind your post is only based on personal feelings and not representing the player community as a whole. I also don't think they will listen to someone who straight up says that they hate one of Square's more successful games. That's like telling someone, "I hate your haircut, it looks so stupid! Hey, but can you lend me some cash so I can get mine cut?" Somehow I don't think they will feel up to helping you.

Lodestone has Blogs for players to write the crap you wrote. Go make a blog and write your cries and BS there. That blog will rly be yours to write w/e.. Leave the forums and threads for serious/decent/proper conversations, a place where people can trade ideas, suggestions etc...

Also have in mind, that you are not the only one in this game. You like it, most dont. And you post on FORUMS saying that you will leave. Omg, run SE, keep it as it is cus you will lose Cxplorer. Sadly, loads and loads more threads like this crap take place in the forums, literally destroying them, making them unpractical. Go make a damn blog spot to write. Come post here if you have something reasonable, a suggestion or an idea...

Not make the game like FF11. That is my suggestion and my idea :)

This specific last line can be accepted coming as your idea, as suggesting. (allthough the reasons you say it, aint reasonable at all, about difficulty and the likes.) :P
